Just found this Peloton tread! I have the bike and the tread but favour the tread more. When I got the bike the tread wasn't out yet and I definitely would've gone for a tread first but I'm really trying to get back into using the bike. For tread I mostly do power walks, hikes, walk+runs and HIIT runs. I do quite a bit of their floor content, mostly pilates and yoga which are both great!
Have you tried barre yet?? I love those alongside pilates

How many days a week does everyone have off? I keep planning to have a rest day but then I don't want to break my streak :/ seems a bit counterintuitive that they say to have one rest and one recovery a week but then there's these streak badges. I'm seeing people in the Facebook groups saying they've got 200 day streaks etc. Idk it seems a bit unhealthy. I'm already feeling like if I don't use it today I'll feel bad.

£25/£30 a pop I think - on top of what you pay for the membership and equipment! And it feels like some people are there every week 🙄
Ah OK. Yeah that's fine for a one-off or a couple of times a year or whatever, I've not looked into it but I'd love to go and see what the vibe is like and meet my favourite instructor (Hannah F)! But no way would I go regularly, and if I was an instructor and saw the same person all the time I'd think it was a bit weird!

Me too, I miss all the drama, apparently it kicked off the other night in Bradley’s obsessive stalker group. Had hoped it was his wife telling them all to take a good look at themselves in the mirror but it was to do with people wanting to buy other people’s studio places 🙄
Oh! Anymore info on that? I can’t stand Bradley, he’s very poor imo

Hannah and Leanne apparently don’t get a long at all, I heard it through the grape vine from some of Hannah’s super fans.
I’ve liked a their 2 for 1 rides and they appeared to get on ok on those. But did notice Hannah being out of the country for the wedding 👀

i know this is a really stupid question, but...

Ive done two spin classes ever, does it tell you which are beginners ones and when you should move onto the next level (are there levels?)?

I used to run a lot but haven't for a while, so does it help you work out what level you are at?

I literally have no idea how these work :/

Had anyone actually got the apex bike and can give an honest review? There doesn’t seem to be much inline from any real users. I really like the look of it and the fact that it’s boom cycle doing the classes so not too OTT American like the Peloton. But equally I don’t want to spend 1k on something that doesn’t match up to the Peloton and then wish I’d just got that instead and it becomes an expensive clothes horse 😂
We looked into apex last summer but there weren’t much reviews like you said, so we got a Peloton instead plus we don’t have an iPad or tablets. The difference is 500 pound but then we both paid 150 each for fitness classes pre lockdown, so in a grand scheme of things, it doesn’t make a difference to our finances. I do agree that is a luxury though, still hate the fact that we have to pay 40/month for the subscription. Have to convince myself that we aren’t paying for travel card now, so we have more disposable income to pay the subscription :(

My friend has a Peloton and because the screen is built in, if you cancel the subscription I don't think the screen works anymore. You could put the bike in front of your TV and use a Youtube video I guess but then it really is just a very expensive bike.

We've just ordered an Apex Ride - quite a bit cheaper (but still pricey) no in-built screen, you just use your iPad or whatever so you don't have to have the subscription necessarily. It is worth it for us as we try to spin a lot but it's increasingly difficult to get on the classes now the gyms are opening, plus they offer a better range of length than the ones at my gym. So the gym has 45mins/one hour, sometimes I don't have time and the Apex has shorter classes like 20 mins which I can almost always fit in. Given we're facing another lockdown potentially I am glad we ordered it. With home spin bikes, I've tried a few cheaper ones and you get what you pay for tbh.
I’m interested in Apex.. what cheaper ones have you tried, out of interest? I found one I’m toying with in the region of £400... wonder if I should just bite the bullet

All the drama this week on the push push crew page and various admins. Tiff has stopped responding to it and gone back to just posting her real life which is good, hopefully it should calm down a bit. It’s all just so cringey. You might feel like you know the instructors but they are not your friends.
On a separate note where does all this rich bitch uk ladies stuff go on? Never seen it but sounds highly amusing
