Olivia’s rides are just so unnecessarily difficult! I like a challenge but the resistance and cadence combinations she comes up with are so unachievable!
I avoid Olivia like the plague. There’s no thought to her rides except go fast as possible whilst out of the saddle. Her powerzone rides are so annoying as you can tell she’s irritated by having to stick to zones.

Leanne’s low impact rides are my favourite when I can’t be bothered as they’re sneaky hard.
it’s actually a joke that she’s a power zone instructor, she doesn’t fit with it at all!

she’s also not very clear when calling out the resistance and cadence so i end up totally confused and flustered (doesn’t take much tbf)

she’s just not the vibe for me at all man

on another note i was really enjoying doing sad rides for a while after my mum died, there’s really something for everyone in terms of rides on peloton isn’t there 😂

So sorry for your loss. It’s true, there really is a ride for everyone.
I’ve never tried any power zones. I kind of understand how it works but what is the benefit of doing power zones over regular rides? Do they build endurance?

Basically it’s building endurance at certain power thresholds that are individualised to where you are fitness-wise. By cycling for long periods in lower and middle zones you end up more powerful and stronger when riding hills/efforts.

The rides aren’t as “fun” as they’re lower key and the music isn’t always the best, but I always enjoy finishing a 6/8 week challenge (I ride with a UK ladies team) and usually drop a few kg and inches if I’m sensible with food which is a bonus.

Interesting. I think I might do the intro to power zones program and see how I get on. I’m 5 months post partum so need all the help I can get with shedding a few pounds 🤪

Has anyone else noticed that Ally Love looks visibly pregnant? I do a lot of her barre/pilates classes and it's so obvious now. She can announce when she pleases or not, but I bet she will be an amazing mother!

Yes, I don’t tend to do many of her classes but did a barre the other day and definitely thought the same thing.

Just watched some barre. She’s definitely pregnant. I thought she was on IG the pic in the black suit. I don’t tend to ride with her

I see all of the thirsty uk peloton witches were out and about in London for a 10k run there yesterday. Imagine running a 10k and then going to the studios to get a photo outside with your medal, seriously cringey behaviour from people who genuinely think the instructors are all their friends IRL 😂

Nah I left that group months ago. Full of bleeps that page. I saw it all over instagram and the cringeworthy sucking up to the instructors with tagging the life out of them in 3,000 selfies and group photos of the same 🤢 I bet the instructor’s deep down hate that

There was a post on there yesterday from some bored middle aged housewife asking for advice for her (and I quote) “wealthy friend” who had an issue with flies in her massive renovated farm house. Second hand embarrassment.

Have you all seen Bradley's news, had a cancer scare. Seems to be a massive gap from the Peloton team rallying around. Leanne liked but not commented. Hannah nothing, Cody nothing along with many more. 👀👀👀

I’m going to hazard and guess and say that Ben posted a lovely long message and as his wife
Leanne might have thought that was sufficient. Tbh I think it is. Or she may be more private and don’t believe you need to lay everything out online for it to matter.
hannah I don’t think replies to people much generally. Who knows. I wouldn’t read too much into it

I don’t think that means anything tbh, not everything needs to be displayed online and him and cody are very close friends

The whole Bradley cancer story is a massive attention grab imo (and the people who have had proper health issues at Peloton know it).

So he’s missing for 2 weeks, he’s currently in the states. My dog had similar issues last year, she had a lump removed and it was actually cancerous. If he had gone through the health scare he actually describes he would be mia a little longer and not flying off several thousand miles.

But don’t let that stop you from sending him lots of hearts, buying him inappropriate gifts and tell him how he’s the pass your husband has agreed to, all while not losing a single pound on your stationary bike.

That's what I'm thinking to be honest. They normally rally around each other and it seems to be massively lacking this time.
