My bike comes tomorrow OMG I am so excited! 😂 it was totally inspired by this thread. I love spin classes and have really missed them. It’s the only exercise I have ever actually enjoyed, I’m such a music-based exerciser!

I’d love to know of anyone’s favourite euphoric rides, that have really amazing building music? I’m definitely going to try the pop stuff but I do love house music which I’ve heard is less prevalent.

Does anyone use their own music while following a class?

I see all of the thirsty uk peloton witches were out and about in London for a 10k run there yesterday. Imagine running a 10k and then going to the studios to get a photo outside with your medal, seriously cringey behaviour from people who genuinely think the instructors are all their friends IRL 😂

The whole Bradley cancer story is a massive attention grab imo (and the people who have had proper health issues at Peloton know it).

So he’s missing for 2 weeks, he’s currently in the states. My dog had similar issues last year, she had a lump removed and it was actually cancerous. If he had gone through the health scare he actually describes he would be mia a little longer and not flying off several thousand miles.

But don’t let that stop you from sending him lots of hearts, buying him inappropriate gifts and tell him how he’s the pass your husband has agreed to, all while not losing a single pound on your stationary bike.

I looked into it too, and honestly, it feels like a huge splurge for just the equipment and subscription. I mean, for the same price, I could get a solid gym membership with classes, personal training, and more. If you’re really into the live classes and community vibe, it might be worth it, but there are definitely cheaper ways to stay fit.
I actually preferred it because it can be completely other way. I barely do live classes and am not involved in any of the communities, but having it at home and not having to go anywhere works really well for me. Nearest gym is 15-20min away, spin classes don’t really exist either. I find hopping on the tread or bike (or both in a longer session) so easy to do because it is just there at home. But also I do accept I was never interested in having a PT, which obviously is a huge draw for the gym.

I think that Peleton is a status symbol, first and foremost. It was definitely targeted at the Goop-esque wellness crowd first, and then the market expanded.

It’s like by having a Peleton you are telling others what kind of person you are - you’re paying for the name and its association more than the actual exercise, in my view.

Does anyone belong to the UK Ladies Peloton Facebook group?

Jesus they’re a bunch of inept moaners. Every second post is “I have this mundane problem that I refuse to take any practical steps to resolve. How can I make the other person/company/my child/my husband fix it?”

I used to think it was quite good craic albeit very middle class, but it’s become Mumsnet.

Grown adults acting like children! I find it so cringey.
It’s so odd. Bradley did a low impact ride the other day and they were all flapping, worrying he was feeling down. Not a shred of evidence to back this. Also on the Bradley page someone started hysterics saying he doesn’t feature in top rides enough and he’s going to get fired if everyone didn’t start rating his rides. Now the bike is good. It’s another job I have to do in my never ending list of tasks, but Christ, the obsession with people is just plain weird!! And don’t get me started on people that rig their bikes to make their stats look better or who aim for PBs on warmup and cool-down. Get in the bin 😂

Haha brilliant! Isn’t that most of the UK Ladies Facebook page? That group has got to be one of the worst, most self absorbed groups I’ve ever been part of, the floating of ‘oh look at me and my huge house/Porsche’ is just wanky!

so I saw someone share something about all this Hannah stuf and fell into a hole with as many as 10 sharing stuff hammering the fan group founder or whatever she goes by and then it’s was a back and forth against each other for so many days! Pretty embarrassing tbh and tagging peloton and Hannah’s instagram page was a bit uncalled for if you ask me
Me and my daughter are both members of the Ladies group just so we can laugh at the ridiculous ‘look at my this house I’m buying, can anyone advise me how to fit my 15 Porsches on to the drive’ 😂

Didnt bother following Hannah’s group but now I’m gutted that I’ve missed the drama.

Anyone else think Cody should do a Barbie ride? The soundtrack is made for it imo

I pretty much only do Hannah F or Ben's spin classes. They both have the best music and are so likeable, without any of that American cheesiness! I always feel like I want Hannah F to be my best mate, you feel like you'd have the best night out with her.

Leanne and Ben are my two favourites. I feel like two of my best friends have been diagnosed! So much respect for them both dealing with all of that on top of losing her best friend last year. Hoping for the best possible outcome ❤

Yes. Like what Farrow and Ball colour should I paint my 3rd bathroom.
I have them on mute, a couple of times I’ve searched back for info/advice given, but I’ve never got involved and I don’t want it all through my timeline constantly.

That’s probably the right thing to do. Wasn’t it £10 for all that content ? It’s an absolute bargain. We pay about £40 for it with the bike
It should almost be the other way round, I’ve forked out £1500+ for the gear, I should be getting the cheaper app price. Not someone who didn’t buy the gear.

Why are some peloton owners like this - it’s a 5 minute cool down chill out with the output.
Do people really sit at home pleased with their achievement for coming top of the leaderboard on a cool down 🙄

Hi guys, did you know that heavy driving requires high energy consumption. When riding a bicycle, about 400 kilocalories are burned per hour. Cardio training during outdoor cycling can improve ventilation and release toxins from the body. By the way, oxygen saturation of tissues contributes to the active breakdown of fats. Therefore, weight loss training is more effective than running. By the way, I recently looked at the peloton shoes review used by professional cyclists. These shoes allow you to feel reassured and increase your chances of success in cycling.

Separately, I actually can’t take Bradley’s classes anymore. He is toooo cringe! He’s an absolute sweetheart but just so nerdy

It's the same as the people that use recovery rides to battle on the output. I was doing one the other day and there's people with 300 output on a 20 minute recovery ride. Chill out mate
