With them being around for over ten years I don't think they'll just suddenly disappear
It doesn't really matter how long they've been around for. What does is they now have eyewatering debt and eye watering losses. They've been terribly managed for the last year with some awful decisions. The idea that they would grow and grow and grow based on what happened during lockdowns was so flawed. If they can restructure and have realistic expectations about being a somewhat niche product with small growth then they may hang in.

I doubt another firm will be wanting to take on all their liabilities as there's not much unique to buy, it's mainly the customer base.

Share prices have increased with the row announcement, there's already others on the market so not sure there's much to untap. But we will see

With them being around for over ten years I don't think they'll just suddenly disappear, they'll be acquired by a software or sports brand like amazon, Nike or Adidas.

The pandemic defo made the old CEO go wild but how much more did he think they'd grow realistically? Me and my husband would never set foot in a gym again now we have the bike and tread - but we're fortunate enough to have a dedicated gym space in our house with weights, racks, bench etc so neither of us feel like we are missing anything from a commercial gym (and we hate other people!)

They've got a very dedicated subscriber base so they need to focus on them, which I think they are doing as they emailed me through the week saying I'm one of the top members, asking me to share my peloton story for their socials, a personal video off some instructors and a £100 apparel voucher!
Wow that’s great well done 👏

Went to soul cycle a few days ago, I hated it. It is so overhyped and cringe.
Instructor doesn’t really cue resistance, so newbie might be up the saddle on a very low resistance therefore injuring themselves. I find it so cringy with all the chest press and hand press. There is no form, so you get people who do it on a very bad form. No cue from the instructor either.
Instructor jumped down from the bike and Dane. Nah, I will stick with Peloton. 😘 love ya peloton

I tried soul cycle a few times pre pandemic and never got on with it. I found some smaller spin classes that were similar to peloton in cues etc. near me and preferred those. Sadly they shut down forever because of lockdown, just couldn’t keep the business going despite loaning our bikes etc. That's how I ended up buying a peloton. Couldn’t imagine myself going back to in person classes regularly although when PSL reopens I will have to try and go obvs.

ETA - I did enjoy the Harry styles drops last week even though I’m not really a “fan”. The 241 with Becs and JJ was a great run! Any one else done some good classes lately they’d recommend, there’s been so many drops I definitely miss things!

I wanted to do the Becs and JJ run but I don't know any of Harry Styles' music so not sure if there's much point! I'm going to do Becs' welcome home run some time this week.
I've done a few Hannah Frankson rides recently and they've been great. You can tell she works hard during them too. No idea how the instructors do it tbh!
I also did my first Jess King ride last week, a 2000s pop one I think.

I recently did Bradley class, he gave a very huge range for resistance so you can decide if you want to chill or push for PB, which I like. It can feel relatively easy if you are aiming for the lower range, but yes overall I rate hims

I will try Hannah F next, a lot of people raved about her too :)

I pretty much only do Hannah F or Ben's spin classes. They both have the best music and are so likeable, without any of that American cheesiness! I always feel like I want Hannah F to be my best mate, you feel like you'd have the best night out with her.

Yes! She'd be ace to go on a night out with. Her playlists are always good.

Bradley Rose is another favourite. He's bonkers.

I don’t know Harry styles at all but I just took a chance. I love JJ as one of the newer instructors and recently discovered Becs, the class had a great vibe. The welcome back class was excellent, definitely recommend. I don’t normally run on a Saturday lunch time but missed Parkrun and did that instead, was a great alternative!
I do quite a lot of PZE classes with Matt and Denis, they both definitely work hard during those. In the 90 min Matt often has a mid cycle snack, which reminds me of the human/how much work he’s putting in. Definitely don’t know how they do it, especially the runners. You could def tell when Becs was training for the marathon time trials she was working in those interval classes!!

I will have to give it a go! I haven't done any of JJ's runs yet but I do like Becs. I did her 60 minute endurance run where she recapped the marathon trials and that was awesome, apart from the spending 60 minutes on a treadmill bit 😂

Does anyone have gossip?! So Ben and Leanne met with Ally love in London but not Jess king, maybe I'm overthinking it all. I'd be absolutely all over the place trying to meet visiting peloton people. Also Hannah met with Ally too separately. I absolutely adore Hannah she recently took her ginger Tom the vet he had lumps, they told her it was his nipples, she's hilarious ! Recently done her 60 min ride was fantastic x

Ben and Leanne had been on holiday and I noticed something about them moving house… A lot of the U.K. lot seem to have been away lately according to their instas, probably lots of leave to use up! Was ace to have Becs on the U.K. tread though, it would be fun to have had some of the other USA lot who’ve been over lately teach out of PSL!

Yes that would have been amazing actually and vica versa-my bucket list include visiting both studios for classes eventually I can't cope with how exciting that is to me 😂 Ben and Leanne always insta their holidays I haven't seen anything, they seemed quiet, but if they are away that makes sense-I'm so
Nosey!!

Yeah now you come to mention it Leanne has been v quiet on IG. I don't think I follow Ben but Leanne posts a lot of stories usually and she hasn't been doing. Hopefully they're both ok and just busy!

I read something on one of the FB groups that they had a personal issue - nothing to do with them splitting or anything but that was why they’d been quiet.

Ben has been very quiet the last few weeks, maybe even months. He's also vaguely mentioned "setbacks" and "challenges". Really hope he's ok. Ben is my favourite!
