I’m her age and gained four stone in the last few years - no excuse other than I was a greedy, lazy pig with an under active thyroid. And I just thought I don’t want to look like this, I deserve better than I’m treating myself. And since Christmas I’m almost two stone down. Still a way to go of course but now I put that bit more effort in. Sure in lockdown I’m not making that effort, but we do video calls at work so the top half of me is ready and the bottom half is pyjamas or tracksuit bottoms. I really hope she finds the motivation to realise she deserves to be her best self. She’s young and has so much to look forward to which I’m sure she would enjoy more if she loved herself - at the moment she doesn’t seem to which is sad.

Never agreed with fat shaming anyway and yes there has been in the thread before now but think there’s a difference between fat shaming and fat shaming a pregnant woman with comments about her not doing enough for her baby before it’s even born and making assumptions the baby is unhealthy because of her weight
Someone else mentioned that it was likely Lori was 6 stone away from a healthy BMI when she told Insta she’d only gained 1lb so far in her pregnancy. Or there was one saying that she (and others) see babies as a meal ticket.
I personally don’t see why what Gill said was so different or offensive or over the line in comparison. But it’s just a matter of opinion and like arseholes, we’ve all got one.

Back on track. Has anyone seen her recent stories? She seems genuinely really happy and content. I feel like for ages before this pregnancy she’s been a bit… lost. Miserable. She appeared like she wasn’t sure how to be on stories or what to post. This is the first time in ages that she appears to be genuinely happy.

Why does she always look so fucking miserable more to the point?!
I get the impression she’s massively uncomfortable. I was mid size, went skinny then gained a shit ton of weight due to illness and let me tell you being fat in this heat is miserable (disclaimer: This is my personal opinion and I’m not talking about how other people may/may not feel in the heat).

Yes but you didn’t get the tickets thanks to your 26-30 railcard, you got them for free.. stop trying to make the ad look like you are relatable, I would never buy something where somebody tells me how much I can save when they are not even paying for it themselves 🤦🏼‍♀️

Totally disagree with you. My view is you should do the best you can do for a baby you are bringing in to the world which includes many things she is doing but also includes not increasing health risks to the child by your own weight. The reason she’s overweight is she eats too much and moves too little- the reason most people are overweight. I’m not ashamed of that statement or thought at all. I’d be more ashamed risking the health of my unborn child. We can agree to disagree but I don’t need to be told I can’t have an opinion and you won’t shame me in to thinking differently.
You don’t know the reasons to why she is overweight, none of us do. She could have a medical issue that she hasn’t shared in her social media but you are just basically assuming (stereotyping) that she is lazy and overeats. She could also be consultant led for a completely different reason but, again, you are just assuming it’s due to her weight. Maybe stick to what we do know and stop being cruel.

Same. It’s awful seeing your baby that upset, she’s a brave girl sharing that. Good on her…it’s not all roses when you have a little one
i felt like I wanted to give her a hug! Makes a change to these insta mums who make out it is perfect and an easy job…every baby is different. Really hope the little one feels better soon bless her.

She's bought the same mirror as lil and Emma for the babies room and doing same panelling as Emma. So boring. I bet it's painted beige. Nothing more than a a sheep.

Beautiful little baby, love the name - detests those headbands for little ones though, the risks they come with are not worth the cute insta pics

I feel like I’m in the same boat - same age, probably put on the same amount of weight in short space of time, dying to get it off but just can’t get my head in the game. I can’t speak for Lori, but I know personally it’s made me feel crap.
I feel the exact same. Makes me sad looking at her pic Cos I can relate so much

So I read all of your comments before I saw the pic, I had lots of images in my head but the actual picture is a lot stranger than I had imagined 🤭

Why is her hand on his stomach like he is the one expecting 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣
