Someone else mentioned that it was likely Lori was 6 stone away from a healthy BMI when she told Insta she’d only gained 1lb so far in her pregnancy. Or there was one saying that she (and others) see babies as a meal ticket.Never agreed with fat shaming anyway and yes there has been in the thread before now but think there’s a difference between fat shaming and fat shaming a pregnant woman with comments about her not doing enough for her baby before it’s even born and making assumptions the baby is unhealthy because of her weight
I get the impression she’s massively uncomfortable. I was mid size, went skinny then gained a shit ton of weight due to illness and let me tell you being fat in this heat is miserable (disclaimer: This is my personal opinion and I’m not talking about how other people may/may not feel in the heat). Why does she always look so fucking miserable more to the point?!
You don’t know the reasons to why she is overweight, none of us do. She could have a medical issue that she hasn’t shared in her social media but you are just basically assuming (stereotyping) that she is lazy and overeats. She could also be consultant led for a completely different reason but, again, you are just assuming it’s due to her weight. Maybe stick to what we do know and stop being cruel.Totally disagree with you. My view is you should do the best you can do for a baby you are bringing in to the world which includes many things she is doing but also includes not increasing health risks to the child by your own weight. The reason she’s overweight is she eats too much and moves too little- the reason most people are overweight. I’m not ashamed of that statement or thought at all. I’d be more ashamed risking the health of my unborn child. We can agree to disagree but I don’t need to be told I can’t have an opinion and you won’t shame me in to thinking differently.
i felt like I wanted to give her a hug! Makes a change to these insta mums who make out it is perfect and an easy job…every baby is different. Really hope the little one feels better soon bless her.Same. It’s awful seeing your baby that upset, she’s a brave girl sharing that. Good on her…it’s not all roses when you have a little one
Ew. Just. Ew.Totally disagree with you. I feel the exact same. Makes me sad looking at her pic Cos I can relate so muchI feel like I’m in the same boat - same age, probably put on the same amount of weight in short space of time, dying to get it off but just can’t get my head in the game. I can’t speak for Lori, but I know personally it’s made me feel crap.
