Having to get up for 8.30 is bad enough for meThere’s loads of them. Trains at 5am… get a life
Found. Thank youYou can, it’s a joyous public page![]()
Another thing to blame on the podcast.I love how they talk about the "Bushy Park pilgrimage" like they're doing Hajj
Maybe will add to list then . Everyone says chipping Sodbury flat but it's quite a trek.Keynsham (Somerdale Pavilion) is just...bonkers! But it's great doing something more exciting than laps around a field. At this time of year it does get flooded a lot.
Someone posted a video on YouTube to the Benny Hill theme tune.
I got a free 25 volunteer top ages ago, now you have to pay which is a shame.I personally think they need to give more of an incentive to volunteer…. I’ve signed up to marshal at plenty of local events close to me, I get free entry into other events and credit to merchandise which I think is brilliant, correct me if I’m wrong but park run give you credits towards volunteering but you then still have to pay for a volunteer top? I don’t believe for one moment that they couldn’t give you a freebie 50 times you volunteer when they are making money from the other merchandise they are selling?
Yeah you only get one creditA question on volunteering - Do you only get one credit per event you volunteer at? Just looking at my home park run future roster and seen someone’s doing multiple roles.
We have a hill at ours. I wonder if it’s the same one?I,don't like my home parkrun - that hill is a bitch!
It is a good groupI’ve just found park run laugh’s Facebook group! Alas some people with a sense of humour.
I really hope so, for those poor dogs sake!I just saw that. It has to be a pisstake….surely?!
I was there and I,know the pair that sorted it.I didn't realise that the lot who went to Inis Meáin had actually chartered their own ferry. Flaming hell.
That page is hilarious!Just stumbled upon UK inaugural parkruns.
it’s funny seeing grown men argue.
True, and you will get faster the more you do it. I’m still not as fast as I’d like to be.I think when you are running/walking/generally moving regularly it's really easy to underestimate how unfit some people are. Talking a long time to do 5k might be someone's biggest achievement that week.
A bit off topic but how do you decide how you split your jeff (I'm assuming you mean run walk strategy by Jeff).I often Jeff and am usually faster that way plus less tired at the end, it’s weird how it works
