Oh my God, I've always liked both Rob and Josh but I'm probably more understanding of Josh's way of life however I've just watched Rob & Rom vs Hip Hop and I have to say Rob just comes across as just a really nice guy.
He's so funny and able to laugh at himself. What really stood out to me was how willing to put himself in a really uncomfortable position and maybe look a bit foolish just so his friend could succeed. It was really good Christmas television but also made me really like Rob and see a bit more why he's always so 'on', it's just him and when I see it on television as opposed to hearing it just it makes me see how endearing he is.
I've just read this back and I sound a bit drunk and gushing but I haven't even had a drink 😂

I think they are both genuinely nice guys and that’s why the podcast is so popular. It’s okay to find either one annoying at times - we’re not all perfect all of the time, are we?

Absolutely this! I still love the podcast and saw both of their stand up shows this year (very funny-Josh marginally more so). I don't find either of them very relatable though but that's ok because I don't generally find famous people very relatable....
I am however another one getting a bit bored with the "I'm so tired" talk.

Anyone know why the podcast is late today? Wondering if it might have something to do with launching filming the podcast 🤔

It's up now - it was recorded yesterday and yes it's got video now so I imagine teething issues with that. I do tend to find on the days the pod is late it usually has been recorded the day before

Ok, thanks. They said it was available on YouTube but I can’t seem to find it. I can only watch Spotify on my phone so it’s a bit small 😩

Love the podcast and love Josh and Rob. I don’t mind Rose and Lou but I think this book of Lou’s may really bite her on the a. I don’t know what was going through her head to do this. It’s so oh my diamond shoes are too tight. I can only think that some publisher’s blown smoke up her a as it’s really ignorant. Loads of mums in particular do the lion’s share of parental organisation even when the other parent is actually there and arguably, women do have the mental load. But what about the single parents who have no choice but to do it all. Rob’s career was a choice that they were both on board for and aimed for this to be their lifestyle. He’s worked bloody hard for it but it’s so tone deaf for her to be offering tips, especially when her hardship gives her about 6 bleeping holidays a year. I don’t begrudge them that but this book, man, not a good idea.

Completely unrelatable to the average parent!

Josh seems so much calmer and happier since his move to Devon. I think they made a good decision to relocate, sounds like it’s all working out nicely for them.
Also, imagine opening your door to carol singers and one of them is Josh Widdicombe off the telly!!!!

Yeah at first I thought the book thing was quite an interesting thing to do but now it’s like very Ivory Tower isn’t it.

Such a shame the industry seems to want to promote partners and relatives of famous people rather than individuals with no head start looking to carve their own path.

Another classic story from the entitled Becketts yesterday, I know he was kind of joking but I can 100% believe that they did ask for one of the Christmas trees in the public area to go in their suite!!

I get that parenting can be difficult and we love a moan but writing a book when you’re in an extremely privileged position is just too much. My husband and I both work full time with 3 small kids so I struggle to relate at all.
