Two weeks in a row that Josh’s daughter’s name has been mentioned on the podcast. I know he’s not secretive about the names as his book is dedicated to them, but they don’t usually get mentioned on the pod. Wonder if it’s by accident that it’s been left in.
Totally missed this.
Another great episode 👏

To rectify the fact that from March to August last year, there was one woman.
But between jan-march there was 8 women and 2 men.. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Not going back any further but don't really get what the problem is?

Half the guests they had on during the middle part of 2023 were rit (George foreman springs to mind) but I think they've pulled it back a bit over the last few months. Excited for romesh again on Friday (his wife is involved too)

Loved yesterday’s episode. Really looking forward to Friday’s too.

I don’t think it matters the split between male and female guests. I actually think that having more males on is better, and it doesn’t conform to the traditional “women look after the kids”

However, the female guest that have been on, Natalie Cassidy and Alex Jones in particular, have far surpassed some of the recent male guest such as Seann Walsh and Adam Kay

Oh really? I missed both! I wonder if they're edited out later in the day. I know when Rob mentioned his wee girls name and they got a few insta comments about it it was gone later in the day.

But also, Michael the lucky sod is in Mauritius so maybe the producer they've brought in to replace didn't know to automatically do it?

Still another enjoyable episode. I do enjoy them just blethering back and forth.

Also, what do we think on Lou's regifting a Teddy - good gift for a child?
If you've not got a gift surely you'd just stick £ in a card rather than a crappy regift. Tight.

I was shouting ‘stick 20 quid in a card’ out loud when he was talking about Lou searching the house for a gift 🤣

I definitely fall into the camp of not being into the guest episodes, and to be honest (maybe it is because I’m not a parent) I don’t notice whether it’s mums or dads they’re talking to. The guest eps were interesting when it was still Lockdown Parenting Hell and all about that particular situation/the challenge of it all, now it seems to be less and less ahout parenting after the ‘talk us through your set up’ bit.

I think they should do a monthly guest - last Friday of the month have a celeb in to chat.

There are only so many interesting guests out there and they have started to scrape the barrel.

It’s because they get guests on just to promote stuff, it’s part of the reason I’m not a fan of the guest episodes. I’d rather them just want to come on to talk about their lives/ kids but like when someone goes on a tv show they have to try and make you buy their book or watch their show🙄

I was hoping they would of carried on talking about how they coped with parenting lockdown but as soon as it ended they stopped talking about it. Even if it was a brief part of the conversation, it was interesting.

Ah Romesh today! Looking forward to this.

Had an awful thought this morning that they may try get someone like Paul from the traitors on as he’s so fame hungry clearly and already does a podcast. PLEASE DONT BOYS.

I will start a petition so that doesn't happen!

I can take or leave Romesh generally, but I really enjoyed the podcast today. The blink 182 bit was very good.

I’m gonna have to stop listening when my kid is in the car. I’m lucky she’s not asked me what wanking is 😅

Also Leesa’s roast of Romesh had me howling 🤣

Yeah can take or leave him generally but him & Rob have such strong chemistry together it works. Josh bounces off them easily too. One of the best for a long time.

Loved today’s episode. I especially loved how much emphasis was put on it being Lisa’s favourite podcast! He’s even mentioned it on his own podcast this week too 😂

I'm not fussed about Romesh TV stuff (except with Rob, I love the travel show they do) and can take or leave his comedy shows. I do really enjoy his Wolf & Owl podcast with Tom Davies. They're so different but listening to them waffle on is very amusing (there is no structure they just chat).

I really enjoyed today's episode of Parenting Hell as I feel like I "know" Romesh and his family from Wolf and Owl. He does seem like a really decent dad, he adores his boys and I love listening to him talk about them.
