It’s interesting to me that they put it out as clearly a joke idea for a feature and only one person took it seriously and did a very earnest plug. It was a bit embarrassing tbh.
That's funny, because I thought the same.
I know she made a comment about them not letting her on the show, so I hope they stick to that. Tom Allen was funny because his childlessness was a good one off (although I did think John Robins would have been a good one on a similar guise, mainly so he could talk about Elis and how different they both are and stuff, but when we were in lockdown. I'm less sure that would be as funny now). I don't want their childless mates all coming on and plugging tit.
The Tom Allen angle was funny because he was living with parents at the time, I don’t think many of their childless mates could say the same so it wouldn’t make sense for them to be on!That's funny, because I thought the same.

Listening to today's ep. Laura was on HOG the other week & she riled me, but really liking her on the podcast.
What was she like on HOG? I thought she was ok too today. Preferred when they discussed her parenting rather than some in depth stuff about the comedy circuit. Thought that was very unique to them and not to their listeners tbh.
I really enjoyed today’s episode! I always find it funny that so many comedians used to be teachers!
She was really intense & competitive, but she is a massive fan of the show. So I think the pressure got to her! But she's won me over today

Katherine Ryan was on it really early days so it wouldn’t surprise me if she did another one! Hasn’t she had another kid since too?! I like her so I think she’d be a good return!
