Kiri is one of the best people. She’s so humble and kind hearted. She does loads with charities - especially local to her. She’s really passionate about being Welsh - her heritage and culture. And she’s smart and funny!
I usually skip lots of guest eps but was so glad when I saw a post on the AKNF fb group that’s she was on. It’s such a different take on parenting.
I do think Rob especially struggled with ‘woman in her 30s doesn’t want children’ but it was a good and informative chat.

I too was overjoyed to get a (sort of) cross over between my 2 fave podcasts. I can see why she just mentioned the stand up really rather than AKNF given the probable audience... But there was a corker of a new episode out today - and best of all no ads on her podcast with Rachel!

Kiri is genuinely a good person, you can tell she really cares about people and doing the right thing. I think any kid who gets to stay with her must feel really safe and cared for.

You pronounce it like skian do. So different to how it’s spelt and how Rob was trying to say it today! Just made me laugh with our weird Scottish spellings and pronunciations!

We are so weird tbf. I didn't realise that English place names can also be deceiving though, for example I was listening to an old episode recently and Josh was reading out an email from "ME-O-pam". Rob was like it's "Mepam" mate

I love the podcast most of the time, BUT Jesus I Wish they’d stop making such a drama over how tricky and difficult bedtime is ! JUST PUT YOUR KIDS TO F******* BED !

For me, the ‘I love it, but…’ moment is when Josh needs childcare to pack or unpack. He said recently it had taken him the full day to unpack as the kids were around. I am genuinely perplexed.

I am perplexed by this, mine are similar ages and they can play safely in thier rooms for a little bit or happy watching a movie if I need them out my hair.

I’ve got ADHD and so have my kids. Everything’s an absolute nightmare to be honest. I’m sure Rob and his kids have got it and Josh as well. That’s why I like the podcast, it makes me feel like everyone else is in chaos too

OK, I didn’t mean to sound unsympathetic. But Josh and his wife don’t seem to be at the extreme end of finding things challenging normally.

I cringed at the bit where Josh told him off for talking over him as I know I’m guilty of that! A close friend told me off for it once and I’m so conscious of it now! I’m not intending to be rude- it’s usually when I’ve had a drink and get a bit excited

Tbf, Rob does it allllll the time.
I’m a big fan but it really annoys me when he does this, like he needs all the attention and/or will use anything to put Josh down.

I find her to be quite a good guest because she treats it as a conversation, so there is still plenty of Rob and Josh. But another one who swears literally every other word as a verbal tic, which I personally don’t like.

Can't stand her on Buzzcocks or Insta but enjoy her actual TV shows. It wasn't a bad listen, IMO. Lots of chat about school friendship dynamics and a bit about her new paranormal book. She didn't annoy me in this episode
