She honestly doesn't have a clue and all this pish about not paying over the odds is hilarious. If you want a house in this market you need to put your hand in your pocket. Yes the market has cooled a tiny little bit but money talks and the sellers are hardly greedy for wanting the best price. Fast forward however many years when Abby is selling her 'forever home' and she will be giving it 'well we spent this on it and upgraded that so I'm not accepting any less than blah blah'.

I am absoloutely buckled she's out buying stuff for a house she hasn't even viewed. Surely she's going to make those removal costs even higher by buying 3 lorry loads of shite to take with them.

Wow I honestly think she had some mental health problems. I saw them both today in town and they were sitting alone having lunch. I was leaving and saw them sitting at the table. Obv I can't say for sure if their 'good friends' had left or not arrived yet. She lives on another planet.

No friends or family because it’s always someone’s else’s fault, never hers. Can’t be a coincidence that she has absolutely no one in her life. Something doesn’t add up. Glad there is a thread for this girl because she has been annoying me for a while now. She seems the type to start an argument in an empty room tbh so I'm not surprised she chucked the old job and the new one too I assume?
I'm also confused at the recent level of spending... kitten, holiday, holiday bits. When she said she wanted a more luxurious holiday I burst out laughing. It's tenerife or in her case elevenerife.
Good luck to her/them saving to buy outright. I hope they manage it but I fear she may dip into the savings with impulse purchases.

I think I'd like to be you when I'm a grown upIf I wanted to work where I live (the outskirts of a major city) then yes the jobs available would be your standard I’m guessing minimum wage jobs: cafes, Sainsbury’s, nursery’s, care homes, small shops, waitressing etc….nothing wrong with these jobs, however like every other normal person I know we all commute into the city for work (still actually working from home 50/50 = winning) and earn good money! Me and my husband left school him with only GCSEs and me Alevels yet have worked our bums off, furthered our education, commute further than a 10 min walk away from home and earn well in the 6 figures!
Oh and Abbey hun by using our credit card (cleverly) so far in 2022 we have flown business class to the Caribbean, the US and Portugal, stayed in 5* accommodation ate in beautiful restaurants and still spent less than the 10k spent on your Benidorm tripspoints mean prizes aka free flights and free upgrades!
Oh and we have a baby, 2 dogs, 2 cars, house owners, 4 credit cards, topped up pensions (I’m sure Miss Abbey would disapprove of this) yearly maxed out ISAS and over paid mortgage payments, debt free all without cheap council rent or money from Mummy and Daddy. We are normal working class family kids who have a vision for our future, haven’t made excuses and don’t waste money on coffee machines, ugly designer sunglasses or skin care but pay up to live in a nice area where our house made 150k within 18 months of us living there doing zero work to it!!!! She’s actually thick as, I’ve tried to offer her advise so many times and just got blocked. I can’t wait for her shit house to fall to pieces!
I think the realities of being a grown up are hitting her…very very slowly.
Also LOL at the gardens and properties & kitchens she’s showing as inspiration…ain’t going to look like that in the crappy areas she can afford (although can’t afford yet)
also don’t think she has realised what is happening with house prices and mortgage rates at the moment, good luck finding much at 80K! They’re just a couple of silly kids trying to pretend by booking these holidays etc that they can afford a lifestyle that they cannot.
