On one of the stories it was clear that there was a sign by the cakes instructing guests to tag the company on Instagram.

It will be a load of freebies.

I love there home. Except the kitchen floor tiles. Why would they move. Lovely home.
I bet they got a good offer for it. All that effort and expense to start over.
These insta home accounts never seem to just enjoy what they’ve done before moving on.

The thing with the old house is it’s their furniture and dressing that made it. Take all of that away and it’s worth the same as the neighbours imo.

More fool them for paying it I guess.
Yes the garden looks so sad now they’ve taken all their plants and stuff away

That marquee must have cost a fortune. Wonder how much of it was gifted. 100 people and a massive set up like that.
Idid wonder why they were going to so much effort to have the party at home rather than finding a nice venue to host it in. But if the marquee (the biggest expense probably) was gifted then it makes sense.

I might follow again, I got a bit fed up with Ross begging for freebies and being all chummy with feathering and sally.

I am sure he was devastated 🤣

All the Emma Bridgewater crockery on that ad is sickening
I have to agree. I’ve followed them for a long time, the amount of EB stuff they’ve been gifted is obscene. Especially when they can afford it. Time for someone else to have a turn!

Ian is an absolute trouper and so good with every aspect of renovation and how he puts up with Ross’s constant moaning god knows but the new house is stunning, you can see with a lot of renovators once the house is ‘done’ they start itching for a new bigger project

Had he said it was 100000 over asking price. I’ve missed that. Crazy amount of money
The whole process I thought was interesting when I read it. They basically had the house valued by 3 agents. Two valued it at similar prices (which happened to be the average in the area) and one listed it 100K above that.

I wonder how much they’re relying on sponsorships to be able to fund the renovations. I never got the impression that either are in very highly paid jobs and there seems a lot more building/structural renovations in the new house to fund before they can get to ‘fun’ part and start using their Neptune discount.

Oh is that EB all gifted? No wonder they have such a huge collection. Especially since it’s not really in keeping with the rest of their aesthetic.
Yes it’s marked as an ad so one would think so. There must be hundreds of pounds of crockery there. It’s a complete dinner service plus serving ware and other tat

It’s not going to happen overnight. They’ve just moved in so I’m sure there’s lots to think about. Also planning application takes a long time to be approved.

I unfollowed yesterday. I’ll check back when they start to show something done. Very boring 💤

What condition?
I think Ross puts on an act for the stories and fun of it all!
I think they’re a fun couple who have a laugh together, only have to watch their holiday highlights to see that!
Their taste was very insta and clean so be interesting to see how they style this older house!
He has CFS/Fibromyalgia
