I don’t think he did? He seemed to relatively travel just with Kate.I wonder whether he had any staff/security with him and why they didn’t try to restrain him for his own safety when he was acting like that
According to this, he did have people with him.I wonder whether he had any staff/security with him and why they didn’t try to restrain him for his own safety when he was acting like that
That’s exactly what I meant by the choice of picture I just didn’t want to say it. They should have thought about posting a picture of him high up like thatI get what everyone is saying about the picture chosen by Harry in terms of it showing Liam performing in his own surrounded by fans but honestly? For me, with the rumours about him diving off the balcony to get into the pool, it just felt a bit off. Idk maybe I’m just feeling a bit over sensitive? The tributes have all been lovely but I agree Harry’s was more polished and professional.
I still struggle to understand why anyone is asking for anything from any of them..why are public statements from people we don't know irl about a man who died less than 48 hours ago needed? I don't understand why we demand accessibility to celebrities to such an extent that it's considered acceptable to tear them down for choosing the "wrong" photo of their dead friend to post or choosing not to share the full extent of their feelings in an Instagram post.Their statements are all appropriate to the level of friendship they had with Liam, and that’s all we can ask for.
Yes I just meant ‘all we can ask for’ in terms of if they were to release a statement, we shouldn’t expect more than what they feel is appropriate for them. Perhaps I could have worded it better, probably still haven’t worded it very well there haha.I still struggle to understand why anyone is asking for anything from any of them..why are public statements from people we don't know irl about a man who died less than 48 hours ago needed? (Not really directed at the post I quoted - I get what you mean - but it really baffles me!)
Any random person behaving like that in a hotel would be restrained by security and taken away it’s a shame no one intervenedAccording to this, he did have people with him.
Edit, can't link but it's this DM article which has a lot of new info.
Its quite possible they didnt have the man power - restraining some one under the influence of drugs can take a numbef of people. No hotel has security guards their full time for instances like this.Any random person behaving like that in a hotel would be restrained by security and taken away it’s a shame no one intervened
Exactly. You wouldn’t be expected as staff to deal with this sort of situation… Perez was saying they should’ve just called the police but probably didn’t because he was a celebrity. But also, by the 911 call it seems like the situation escalated really quickly and they did call for an ambulance before it happened so they tried to helpIts quite possible they didnt have the man power - restraining some one under the influence of drugs can take a numbef of people. I know theres other staff, but IMO its not for them to get involved her due to potential injuries etc they could receive. Calling the cops is generally the best option
It definitely seems to have been a situation which spiralled extremely quickly. The images of him on his laptop in the lobby were taken I think 35-40 minutes before he died? I can imagine the hotel staff thinking he was a danger to himself but at no point thinking it would end with him falling or jumping off the balcony. They must be traumatised.Exactly. The amount of conspiracy theories I’ve heard over the hotel mentioning the balcony. The amount of balcony deaths there are, of course they’re going to be worried that he’s going to fall off or jump off. The fact that people are finding it suspicious baffles meIn the 911 call they mention their concerns about the balcony as being the reason they called. I actually thought the hotel dealt with it really well to make that call. People always want someone to blame
I do find it so alarming how the photos paint a different picture to the info we've been given so far. He sounded like a man on the verge but all his movement in the hour before looks calm and normal.
I agree and I think a lot of this goes back to the way we’ve made True Crime into entertainment… Nicola Bulley, Gabby Petito spring to mind.. people seem to think tragic deaths and crimes are just up for public speculation now. And people write their conspiracies online as if they’re fact. The amount of conspiracy theories I’ve heard over the hotel mentioning the balcony.
