Ah yes, because it’s a rite of passage as a teenager to smash up chairs and glasses in a hotel 🙄
I just think everyone is always ready to jump on him for some reason. Much worse are the things Liam “allegedly” did to his ex girlfriend and barely anyone is talking about it. Can’t imagine if it was Louis in that situation

Then bring that up if you want to talk about. Someone brought up Louis’ actions so that’s been the discussion topic.

but defending a grown man’s actions because someone else’s are worse is a weird move.

I am willing to discuss what a monster Liam comes across as in Maya’s book. I’m assuming the majority of it is based on her lived experience. Basically everything with that relationship was messed up. And Liam deciding to join Louis and be seen at his shows just as the book is being released screams I’m hiding something and trying to get positive PR

Sure! It just pisses me off the fact that someone read that on twitter and just assumed it was true. I was just making a comparison, I apologise if that’s weird 😂

Does anyone know how Helene (Louis/ID vocal coach) knows Martin Odeggard - Arsenal captain? I’m so intrigued

but your going to be stunted and acting like a teenager if you don’t get to do the things a teenager got to experience at that age. Louis has been through alot of grief and came from a working class area where anti social behaviour was the norm. you don’t just simply grow out of ways, you get nurtured on how to act, which anne has done a great job of with harry but unfortunately louis lost that very early into his solo career.
ETA: i see everyday in my job how loss of parents can impact people and it transpires in ‘naughty’ behaviour. it just feels everyone piles on louis cos he’s not a shiny perfect human, but the press tend to only report badly on him

I mean obviously in the grand scheme of things sure he could be doing much worse things. That doesn't mean people should not be allowed to comment on it. Especially on a forum dedicated specifically to members of 1d.

I don't get your point about "normal teen" things because louis was well into his teens once 1d started and I don't see how it stopped him from doing alot of normal teen things.

Louis isn't from the ghetto or something either. His family was going skiing and to France over the summer. They were probably living above their means, sure but I don't see how this was trauma inducing like you seem to imply? I see his fans talk like this too and I don't get it.

Louis gets an insane amount of pity over his moms death. Its comes across as deeply condescending sometimes because I've seen his fans introduce him that way or people on reddit admitting that thats the only reason they ever listen to his music. I'm sure that would be super weird to see. I mean losing a parent is horrendous and all but its not a exactly a unique life experience. Most people will eventually experience that in their life.

He has money for therapy. Any therapy he could want. He has to make the changes in his life.

I’m sorry Louis was 18 when he was put in the band. He had a normal teenage life, he didn’t have a normal adult life. Him being stunted is his own doing by that stage.

The babying of 1d is becoming more apparent the more they age, they’re all 30+ men now, they have every opportunity to seek therapy or treatment. Just because you experience trauma at a young age doesn’t mean you become a violent or childish person in response. All celebrities are a bit mental but there are plenty of cases of child stars who don’t act that way. The fact is 3/5 of them have been accused or convicted of aggressive behaviour and it’s rarely brought up in fan conversations or it’s excused.

Hes from quite a nice part of doncaster tbh ( if google has the area right) and I now ASB was the norm there.

Can anyone point me to a source where multiple chairs and glasses were smashed up? I’ve seen a worker say him and his band were playing football and broke a singular chair, but I can’t see anything else?

Not excusing it, it’s irresponsible regardless. But also there’s bit of a difference between being stupid enough to play football inside and actively destroying property intentionally. Am I missing the rest of the story?

There's a video of hotel staff talking about it on twitter. Search Louis hotel chair
Yeah this is the one I saw - “They were playing with the ball, they broke a chair”. Thought someone meant he’d intentionally smashed up a room or something, as in multiple chairs and glasses were smashed.

playing with a ball indoors is something you’re taught as a child not to do. Doesn’t matter if it was one chair or five. Don’t play football inside. He’s an adult 💀

Stan twitter is doing the opposite. They don't see anything wrong with it and think it's classic Louis
