He looks grey in those pictures, not very well at all. I feel sad for him honestly. Niall is very middle of the road and safe, I went to see him earlier this month and he really Impressed me. he was really good, the gig was sold out and there was not a million tickets available last minute like there is for most gigs when the stupid bots realise they can’t sell them. I’d argue it’s a nicer level of fame and success than Harry has in reality
edited to add, no way is she 24, where did she even come from anyway?!

Niall and Louis can sell out shows but no one outside the core fanbase is talking about them

I go back and forth on my opinion of Liam. I feel like the style of music he's doing feels forced which is why it's not working. He would be better doing pure pop. But part of me feels sorry for him because people want him to fail. Anytime he's mentioned people talk about how he's flopped

Zayn seems like he can do no wrong and continues selling records. His fans brush it all under the carpet just because of his looks.

You are so right about Liam, it’s the style of music that doesn’t fit for some reason and I think that’s why people don’t seem to relate to it. True about Niall and louis and the core fan base but I do think that might be a nicer level of fame. Anyway, dreamt about being VIP at Wembley stadium for a Harry concert thanks to reading this before bed!

His last song from two weeks ago only managed 89 in the UK charts and I can’t see that it charted anywhere else? Is he still a record seller? Liam’s didn’t chart anywhere… 😶

For comparison, he's 190th most listened to on Spotify, whereas Liams doesn't show a number

I think Niall’s level of fame is fine and more manageable but I think it’s obvious he’s desperate to be bigger and have what Harry has. He’s said he wants a Grammy, to sell out a stadium tour etc. I think he would have a better go of it if he accepted he’ll have mid-tier success within certain regions mainly due to fans of the band.

I think maybe 5 years from now Liam will give up on trying to make it as a solo artist, and try to pursue something else like acting

And I can't see Louis continuing long term. I think he'll eventually do more behind the scenes and look for new artists to promote

I think the reason why Harry is so much more appealing to the general public is because he’s different. Whether the image he has now is for his career or whether it’s actually him is another question. To be fair I think Louis and Niall are quite happy now, Liam on the other hand I don’t think will ever be happy.

I don’t think Liam’s label will ever fund another album. He’ll either be stuck in purgatory releasing odd singles now and then or he’ll be dropped soon enough because there’s no return on their investment with his music. It depends on what his original solo contract was for.

I’m pretty sure Louis has burned too many bridges professionally to make it in management or behind the scenes stuff tbh. I think he’s probably self funding quite a lot of his work at the moment which can’t last forever.

I can't see him lasting long if he's self funding.

Off topic but remember when he was crowdfunding so he could buy Doncaster rovers. He was offering meet and greets, videos and more, and still didn't reach the £2m target. People (mainly parents) were complaining at the time saying he had the money to put in himself if he really cared. They were saying Louis had just earned around 15 million but was asking fans to donate over £10,000 for a 10 minute chat with him. IIRC he was getting backlash for charging so much for meet and greets when the band prices were much cheaper

Yeah I said the same thing about Liam before. I honestly think he could really excel at something that's more music-adjacent than music itself.

I think when Louis doesn't have enough fans to even do a small tour he will probably just stop completely. He's not good at networking and doesn't seem to have a strong work ethic. I'm not sure what he could really do. I could see more kids or something.

Eventually they will all be 'has beens', every musician has gone through it. I think the fact that Harry is doing so much is because he knows that he's cards are marked. They were only really good as 5 and separatoy they've gone a bit stale.

Louis’ doing a load of festivals over the summer. It will be interesting to see if those lead to bums on seats at his own shows. Good for him. I hope he releases a new album once he’s done with his tour.

Im looking forward to hearing new work from Harry.

I definitely don’t think they’ve gone stale quite yet. 😄 They’re only in their very early 30’s. Life has just begun.

I think Louis has always believed in his own hype. He was Mr Big Balls when the band got together, he obviously had/ has a strong family unit and had a strong relationship with his mum that made him mentally strong. He’s never had a reason not to be cocky but I don’t really think hes that talented and it definitely won’t last forever, especially if he’s self funding.

The festival he's doing currently doesn't look like he's enjoying. His smiles seem fake. Masses of people there though. He looks so tired and dare I say it old

He’s not a great live performer. He doesn’t let go. I think he lacks confidence because he’s not strong vocally. I love his album and voice but it doesn’t hold up live unfortunately. His fans refuse to acknowledge that. I think he absolutely enjoys doing the shows though.

Totally agree. I also enjoy some of his music, his lyrics and his recording vocal. Live he is terrible! No stage presence and he doesn’t let go (as you said). I manage talent, and there are so many notes I want to give him and tips! He could be so much better! His management must be really poor. His stage presence and ability to let go were a lot better in early One D, nowhere near as strong as Harry, but better than now. Something is blocked in him; he’s not being his authentic self.

The only time I've seen Louis live is with 1d when they were playing small venues (UAN tour). I don't know if it was the sound or something but every time one of the other four sang, I could hear them clearly. When Louis sang it was very squeaky sounding. It was awful. I couldn't make out what he was saying
