Unfortunately our minds can be the scariest and saddest place sometimes we never really know what’s going on in anyones mind even if their life looks a certain way and even all the help in the world being offered to someone , they sadly won’t accept that help until they want to help themselves because for many people with addictions they can be in denial at how bad their addiction/mental health is. Liam was clearly depressed and had his addictions which he spoke about in the past and it’s very sad especially how young he is it’s heartbreaking for him and his family.

Liam seemed very lost in life for many years his solo career wasn’t taking off in the way he had expected it to which clearly made him very unhappy and then any other problems he was dealing with in his life added on top of that it all had him battling with his mental health and it’s so sad. I hope whatever peace he couldn’t find here with his mind , I hope he’s now found it and can rest in peace but it’s just such a shame a young life gone like this. Reading the articles it says he was high off drugs and alcohol in the hotel and being aggressive because of the drugs/alcohol so I don’t know if he wasn’t being careful on the balcony and slipped and fell accidentally or if he decided to take his own life but either way it’s very sad.

jesus. someone is grieving their friend and all people can do is pick apart his words. if he posted something overly emotional, THAT would've been wrong. because he posted something more carefully worded, he's 'cold hearted' is he?

ANYONE who's ever met or interacted with harry will know he is the furthest away thing from cold hearted. he's funny, intuitive and a very kind soul.

Wasn’t Danielle 22/23 years old in a relationship with a 16/17 year old Liam when he was on xfactor? I know it wasn’t illegal because 16 is the age of consent but I still think it’s very weird why someone in their 20’s would date a teenager and if it was the other way round and a 22/23 year old man was in a relationship with 16/17 year old girl people would be going mad , calling out the man for grooming and being a weirdo etc but it’s odd how Danielle seems to get a pass.

Louis and Zayns post made me bawl like a baby. Harry and Niall’s I found less personal and honestly disappointing, however it is still so fresh that I don’t blame them at all for having someone else write something so that fans stop asking & to get it out of the way. It’s not even been 48 hours yet, I’m sure it’s something they’ll talk about more when they’re ready but for now they’ve done what’s right for them. Louis is so used to losing people at this point that he’s probably learned to handle it better too. I’m surprised that they even came on social media to talk about it so soon, I expected them to wait a lot longer

Liam clearly wants everything positive that came with 1d - the fame, the attention, the women - back. That's why he's going to these concerts and riding the others coattails and then going to their hotels and signing things for fans outside of them despite not staying there. It lets him pretend he's back in the glory days. He seems like a gambling addict in a way, thinking that that a lucky opportunity is going to come along as long as he keeps sticking himself in front of the cameras and fans and then it'll all be fixed and he'll win all that fame back.

He really needed to do what Louis did. Louis has figured out what he wants to do, puts that out, and accepts that yeah it's not the size of a fanbase he had in 1d but he seemingly enjoys it and it pays the bills. But Liam is too thick and delusional to do the same.

I’m a bit late commenting on the Zayn stuff but it’s alarming how much he gets away with. He’s proven time and time again that he has no respect for women. He’s used homophobic slurs, harassed the mother of his child (Gigi) to the point she had to file harassment charges against him and assaulted his child’s grandmother (Yolanda). Oh and also disgustingly referred to his kid as the sperm that came out of his cock (yes he really said this about his own child). It’s beyond me how people still defend him. Let’s step away from the 1D nostalgia for a minute and realise this man is extremely problematic. That’s probably why he’s so lowkey too, so that it’s easier for him to get away with being a piece of shit. Sorry for the rant but when will his fans finally accept that he’s a bad person and stop defending his terrible actions…

I was re-watching the 1D movie and nearly cried when Liam’s mom was tearing up saying how he was away for so long… if before it felt very nostalgic to listen to their songs and watch videos, now is even heavier 🥲

I do greatly fear the impact this is going to have on Louis and Zayn in particular. The boys all looked broken today. Niall looked like he was crying in one of the photos.

As a Louis fan, I’d totally understand and respect him if Louis decide to take some time off to process his grief and to just be. He can take as long as he likes. The Louis in those pictures taken after the funeral looks broken; it’s not the Louis that should be working.

As for Zayn…I hope his tour will start off smoothly. It’s gotta to be so difficult to go from paying his respects to Liam to touring in the span of three days.

I also have this hope that the boys will keep in touch more from now on, and maybe mend those broken bridges. I’m not saying they have to be the best of friends, but they can let bygones be water under the bridge.
