This broke my heart when I read the news this morning

Has anyone seen that Max Balagde is apparently deleting all of his TikTok’s about Liam?? He’s deleted his recent YouTube video of him reacting to cringy Liam videos too

I came on here to see it actually and ended up writing a mini think piece lol. Apparently his bio referenced something Liam said and he’s took it out now

4 world tours and 5 albums in 5 years is not normal for any singer never mind a bunch of teenagers, it is criminal how much they worked them. Must have been so strange going from being in the biggest band in the world to a much lower level of fame.

Ugh he’s been one of the worst for riding the Liam train the past year or two.

Do you think the rest of the 1D boys will acknowledge his passing. I know they were estranged but seeing all the old footage makes me think there must be some small bond there?

He was happy to take the piss so why doesn’t he stick to his guns and release a statement saying as much. It’s all OK to take the piss when someone is alive but don’t backtrack when they’re dead.

I think Liam really found it hard to live in the shadow of 1D and Harry, whereas the others have all seemingly found peace with it and carved out their own niche. Niall just finished a big tour. Louis sells out venues to the 1D crowd. Even Zayn has his own tour and he's the one known for not touring etc.

I definitely think they will. They must all be very shocked right now even if they weren't close to him.

I think so. Even if it doesn’t personally come from them (i.e their words/them posting) I don’t think they can just carry on like nothing has happened.

Even though his girlfriend is not to blame by any means the guilt she will feel and the what ifs is horrendous 🥲 it’s an awful situation for anyone to be in and my heart aches for his loved ones

regardless of anyone’s thoughts of him, no matter if someone is famous there is a little boy who doesn’t see any of that and just sees his daddy and he’s not coming home, that’s heartbreaking

Even if they’re not the best of friends, they’ll always share a bond together. Other than the five of them, nobody else was One Direction, and no one else truly knows what being part of One Direction was like.

This is too big of news for them to just casually not address. On a personal level, I don’t think it’s expected or required that any of the boys make a statement, however, from a professional level, they are absolutely expected to say a few words on Liam’s death.

I’m sure Simon Cowell will say something; X Factor already did. As well, other artists and even some of the people who used to work with One Direction have made statements regarding Liam’s passing. It wouldn’t do well if the boys themselves didn’t address Liam’s death.

Or maybe instead of addressing the death from their own accounts, the official account for the band can issue a statement and have the boys (and their teams) sign off on it. But it would feel more personal if the statements came from the boys’ individual accounts, even if the boys didn’t write the statement themselves.

The boys and their teams know that whatever statement they issue will have a big impact and thus, they must be careful and deliberate in how they address the death.

Yes and I'll think they will come together for his funeral - unless there has been some incredibly serious thing we dont know behind the scenes other than they drifted.

I did read that sadly only Niall still followed Liam online which could indicate theres been serious drama.

I'm quite glad that all Louis family have been on holiday with him this week I think they was going home yesterday but I'm hoping he's gone home with them

It’s tragic. It really is. But these things also happen to real regular people, your family, neighbours, friends, the stranger you pass in the street. You never know what someone is going through, to experience thoughts that dark that you feel there is no other option. To turn to addiction to numb some kind of pain as you feel that’s your only option. And yet, there is still SO much stigma attached to it.

I think the boys didn’t agree with his actions, especially when maya started speaking on TikTok about the abuse, and that’s why they unfollowed him. That being said, they were together nearly everyday for 5 years. I’m sure there was a lot of drama behind the scenes, but they were all basically brothers, I do believe that they still loved Liam, despite his actions. I think they’ll all post something eventually, I’m sure they’re all deeply upset by it all. I don’t think any of them are so heartless to not care that someone they once loved as a brother has died

Louis still follows Liam on instagram, Niall doesn’t

I don’t think people should read too much into who follows who on Instagram. Pretty sure Harry doesn’t even follow his Mum.
