Yes, one of his best friends Matt died by suicide which was caused by a drug overdose in 2016. He included him in the acknowledgments for his Another Man issue and talked about him during Fine Line.

I've really gone off him over the past couple of years, how can he be a role model to all these young girls when he's like this. Back in the 1D days he was so completely different. Surely it must be the "Larry" effect.

lmao i've heard him live twice and he's amazing - coincidentally also went with my friend who is a vocal coach (and she was not a louis fan, so completely unbiased) and she said he is very good live.

This isn’t said in slight about you or your friend, BUT I’m just amazed how many vocal coaches are apparently out there… didn’t know it was such a big industry.

I personally think he’s average, and has improved over the years but not expecting anything wild or agile from him.

There are tweets from way back in 2010 when X factor was first airing of people from Louis’ school saying he bullied gay kids who had no reason to lie. Now I’m not saying he can’t be queer because of that because internalised homophobia is very real, but I think saying Louis was always encouraging and didn’t have any stigma towards queerness at the time is incorrect. I’ve personally never got queer vibes from him and that’s certainly the case now with the way he acts.
