I really can’t figure Liam out! He seems very ‘unstable’ and without a real direction in life even though he has the means to get help/ start another carer, anything… it’s just sad. The new girlfriend doesn’t only cares about filming silly dances with him as well
He also treats her like tit so it’s tit for tat in that sense. She’s riding the wave of association and his wealth while she still can.
I think it's because he wants the kind of success where fans are screaming in his face. He won't get that if he does more behind the scenes like a clothing line

I though it was dead Professional wise, Liam needs to figure out who he is as an artist, and then define his career around his vision as a solo artist. Right now he’s just foundering, no sense of direction, and his lacklustre solo work reflects that.
The other members of 1D are able to find varying degrees of success in their own respective solo careers because they were able to define who they are as solo artists. Liam has yet to do so.
Liam is also messy, compared to the rest of the 1D boys. Next year marks 10 years since 1D has been on hiatus, and Liam has yet to actually roll out a solo career. At the rate he’s going, he’s not going to have a solo career.

Liam will never have a solo career period. And that’s because of how crappy of a person he is, and also the decisions he’s made. He could have done so well at the start if he just made better decisions but he didn’t and that’s his own fault. Imagine going from one of the biggest bands in the world to following your ex band mates around on tour like a fan. And also you think he’d spend his free time (cause he has so much of it) spending time with his son instead of going on holidays every five minutes. I used to love Liam and I did feel bad for him for a long time but there’s no sympathy there anymore at all.
Liam is the most vulnerable, as he doesn't appear to have a lot of support. He relies on the fans as you can see from the reaction he got from Niall's fans. He's dabled publicly with drugs and alcohol and is really struggling. I agree he is very unlikeable but the damage was done at a young age and his behaviour now could stem from that.
Liam will probably benefit from taking some time off and being away from the public eye. Keep a very low profile. He could probably find work in doing something behind the scenes. The 1D name can only carry him so far, and I think he’s reached the end of that line.

I think it’s nice to see the boys supporting each other but Liam just seems to do it for the attention to stay relevant. As you said, the boys found their way and solo careers big or smaller..I think it’s too late for Liam and the time he could’ve actually done something with his career is long gone. I think his ego really couldn’t recover from the 1D fame… it’s a messed up thing to have so young
He has an album of songs ready to be released but why would a label want to waste money funding promotion. His last couple of releases have flopped
He’s the least introspective of the five, and arguably the least intelligent too. He seemed very uncool next to Harry, slow witted next to Louis and surface level next to Zayn. I don’t know much about Niall, but he seems to have a certain charm and charisma that Liam doesn’t have … and of course the Irish humour. Liam doesn’t have a “brand”.
Liam clearly wants everything positive that came with 1d - the fame, the attention, the women - back. That's why he's going to these concerts and riding the others coattails and then going to their hotels and signing things for fans outside of them despite not staying there. It lets him pretend he's back in the glory days. He seems like a gambling addict in a way, thinking that that a lucky opportunity is going to come along as long as he keeps sticking himself in front of the cameras and fans and then it'll all be fixed and he'll win all that fame back.
