I didn't have the Internet at home so I used to use the computers at school to go on rotten.com and ratemypoo.com 
I used to love message boards. Handbag.com first, but the posters all seemed to be in their 20s and 30s, whereas I was about 18 so a lot of people thought I was daft and immature (which I was lol). Then I loved thesite.org which was for ages 18-25, still in touch with a few folk I met on there.
Freeserve was the main message board I used, the Art & Culture pages in particular (although not much A & C was discussed, mainly people were having a laugh). Could waste hours on there, cost of dial up allowing. It all felt so amazingly new then. There were even some meet ups!

does anyone remember the Crystal Rain Forest game you played in school?? If you type that into YouTube there is all the parts to it. There was a game we played in school that I cannot remember the name of but I'm pretty sure you were in like victorian times and there was even a part of the game where you had to make butter? Using this old wooden tool. If someone could remember this for me then that would be brilliant as it's drove me mad for years!!
I also loved Piczo but can't find that anymore!! & Myspace but I logged on recently and all my comments have been deleted. Man I wish I was a kid again to look at all this stuff

Did anyone else ever get sent that game where you had to navigate a maze and the dot got smaller and smaller so you were right up close to the screen and then the exorcist girl popped up screaming?
A lad I proper fancied in high school sent me a link on MSN so I did it, jumped so much I went backwards in the dining room chair and smacked the back of my head off the door frame Amazingly I was fine but my mum was convinced I'd have concussion and wouldn't let me sleep for ages. She wasn't impressed with the lad

Does anyone remember the forum attached to ASOS? There was another forum, fuk.co.uk (fashion uk) and there was a rivalry between them.
Does anyone remember when ASOS was just As Seen On Screen and it just had items of clothing that looked like those worn by celebs?
