If we’ve started to go down the path of websites that kids and teenagers shouldn’t be looking at, then good old goatse.cx definitely deserves an honourable mention 🙈🙈🙈

Did anyone ever use EmoFwendz? (I think that was how it was spelled). I used it from like 2009-2012. I loved that site so much and met so many people. Some were weird and some I still talk to to this day!

Doll Palace, Habbo Hotel, Neopets, MSN and Limewire was my life during 2001-2002. I would make websites as well on Angelfire and Geocities.

In 2002 I ran a fansite for Avril Lavigne which used to get thousands of visitors. I was literally 12 lol. Avril emailed me once saying how much she loved the website and asked for my address and three weeks later this massive box arrived with t-shirts, CDs, a skateboard, posters, a hat, neck ties etc. It was probably her record label or something and not her I'm not sure. My mother freaked out and thought I was being groomed by a stranger lmao.

Soo many I shouldn't have been using love the EastEnders dress up dot would comment on whatever cost you put her in. Barbie games, CBBC games back in the day there was this germs one and you had to have a new version of it and the level up game on CBBC was ace.
The entire dress up games website
Stick man murder
Ebaums world games there was a drive by came you had to shoot people out of the window one where you were a fool and you aimed at women with their legs open 😂

Two main ones for me were:
HotelChat - decent enough early chatroom where every 'hotel room' was for a different discussion.
Liv4Now - a 'lifestyle' website that had some forums; was good for a couple of years before the owner decided to become a massive bellend and start to push the core userbase out.

Does anyone remember the forum attached to ASOS? There was another forum, fuk.co.uk (fashion uk) and there was a rivalry between them.
I know this is an old message but I came to say this! I was one of the original members on here and met up with a few people, loved it!

I used to visit Hitched when wedding planning in 06/07 then stayed around when ttc, eventually moving to the Deadwood. A few absolute angels on there.

I can also remember a US based website that generated offensive e-cards, called pickle party or something. It was all “I’m sorry I called you a pweirdo”, “I’m sorry I called you a wetback” etc

L’Hotel Chat has a seldomly used FB group where I managed to catch up with some of my old Babble crew.

Before there was Facebook (well, Facebook as we know it in the modern day), there was Faceparty.com and Face-pic.com.

rotten.com for shocking nasty pics. Well, shocking at the time. Gruesome and gory.

That’s all I can think of right now.

Loved faceparty, the random men I’d talk to on there at 16 😭

there used to be another gore site called thatsphucked. It’s where me and my friends watched two girls one cup 🤣
