Omg , I don't know one single person who got presale code and only a handful I know got general sale. I saw someone on threads post a list that they got tickets for , it was nearly every show! Not sure if it was just bullshit for engagement though.

I get why some people want to go to some concerts more than once such as coldplay or Taylor swift where they actually put a show (not that i condone it when people can't get one ticket) but oasis will be more of a gig and once should be enough
It’s like a roulette of what gig you’ll be covered in someone else’s urine.

I have huge fondness for Oasis and the Gallaghers, Liam especially. I was a bit of an on/off fan in the 90s but 'What's the Story Morning Glory' was a really important album for me. 1995 was not a great year in my life but that album helped me through a lot. 'Live Forever' is also one of my all time favourite songs.

I only saw Oasis once, in July 2000 at Wembley Stadium. It was the Saturday night which apparently has gone down in history as the worst Oasis gig ever, after the triumphant Friday gig! Liam was certainly not in the best shape and was swearing at the crowd constantly, but I still enjoyed the gig.

I've seen Liam solo twice, the first was the free gig for NHS staff at the O2 in August 2021, and it was one of the best gigs of my life. Liam was in brilliant form and the combination of hearing all those almighty classics, along with the joy and relief that live music was finally back after COVID, was a heady high indeed 🤩

My second Liam gig was the Royal Albert Hall in March last year, also great but not quite matching up to the highs of the NHS gig. I haven't seen Noel live yet but will do in December and looking forward to that, it will be interesting to see how that experience compares to my Liam ones!
You’ll love Noel live. Last time I saw him he was in really good form, the banter with the crowd was hilarious!

If they’re saying it will be opened to the many who failed to get through, how are they going to vet the process? It’ll be easy enough for people to make a new Ticketmaster account registered to a different address for people to try for the ballot, or just use a friends who was trying at the same time but the first friend got tickets, all so they can say they went to x number of their dates.

Absolutely none of this has been well thought out & planned by them.

I am honestly so nervous to the point I was having the most mental dreams last night about it all 😂
I don't know how I'm going to cope on Friday/Saturday... I'm just glad there is a defibrillator at the bottom of my street because I am not well with the stress lol.
I really hope we all get tickets ❤

Well the paps are saying the Gallagher brothers will be kept apart during the shows apart from on stage, so it’s even more clear to see it’s just on Noel’s terms to make back the divorce money he lost. Which makes yesterday’s shambles even funnier, all the money folk will pay to see an over rated band with 0 chemistry! And to be fair I don’t mind a few of their songs, but by god i listened to Definitely maybe the other day & it’s vastly overrated! The 2nd album is better but Wonderwall & Dont look back in anger are way overplayed now I always turn them off.
This is a rave thread …

Wondering how they’re gonna price these new tickets? Do we think they’ll shy away from the dynamic pricing since the backlash of last time? Although it’s hardly fair some people paid hundreds without knowing they could get another chance at these tickets for a cheaper price

So delighted for those of you who have got tickets! 😁🙌

I’ll be logging in tomorrow morning - Dublin dates the sale starts at 8am. Does anyone know is there any advantage to being on the site before then, is there a waiting room or something? Or is it just live at 8am?
There should be a lobby to wait in before the waiting room keep checking from I’d say 7 ish and good luck 🤞🏼

Total goosebumps watching and listening to this once again!

Fucking class! 😍💗💯💯
Same! What a time to be a music fan ❤

Some more Definitely Maybe love for this epic. I think it will be a huge singalong at the upcoming gigs.

(When I say I think about that album every day, I always think about this song when I finish my workday “goodbye I’m going home” 🤣 )

Edited to add, this reminded me of how the “quieter“ Oasis songs become a whole new thing live. For example, Half The World Away is a really sweet song on record, but live, it goes OFF, everyone looses their sh*t, I love it.

Off to see Liam perform Definitely Maybe next week. Going to re-listen to all the B-sides
Mr Milis and I seeing him 23rd June here in Dublin. We always go to see Noel. Massive fans of Noel. Not so much Liam's solo stuff. We've never seen him live. But Definitely Maybe? Hard to pass that up!

Saw Oasis twice live. First time, supporting REM in Slane 1995. 2nd, The Point Depot (now 3 Arena but I still call it The Point) in 1996.

I'm stupidly excited for this 30 year Definitely Maybe trip down memory lane!

Love Oasis. Sadly never seen them - I was meant to see them for the first time at V Festival 2009, which they dropped out of, then they broke up shortly after.

I've seen Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds a few times though - really like his first two albums.
Oh no. I feel so bad for everyone who just missed out on seeing them on that tour.

I love Noel live, and love his solo career! He’s so funny, in a really dry way.

If you like his first two albums then you might not agree (and I totally respect that), but I always wish he‘d go more experimental with his music, he’s got it in him. He was due to release a whole psychedelic album with Amorphous Androgynous around the time of his solo debut but it didn’t happen.

This is my favourite from Chasing Yesterday, and probably my fave Noel track, it’s SO dreamy.

Back to Oasis, what about the b-sides?! I was just thinking today about how Don’t Look Back In Anger had the underrated classic, Underneath The Sky followed by their brilliant version of Cum On Feel The Noize.
