OH! And I‘ve just remembered a tiny fact about one of their songs!

In Talk Tonight, there’s the line “all your dream are made of strawberry lemonade“, and in a recent interview Noel was asked about it, and he said the strawberry lemonade was one of those Snapple drinks!

Anyway, I think it’s one of their most beautiful songs. He wrote it in America, I think around the same time as Half The World Away.

I still remember when I first heard Champagne Supernova, I couldn’t believe they’d done THAT! I was listening to What’s the Story, for the first time, and it comes after two bangers, She“s Electric and Morning Glory, so hearing it for the first time really was a surprise, in a good way.

So I've just turned 40 & grew up with the blur/ oasis hype, I was more a blur as had a crush on Damon albarn but some of my close friends were massively into oasis. Now I have a 13 year old daughter who for the last 2 years has religiously every day listened to oasis. I don't know where the obsession come from as we weren't massive listeners but I do like their music. She has been sent an email saying she's a loyal fan and will get a pre sale code.im praying I get us tickets as she is literally sick with excitement. I will attach photos of her bedroom wall she also has a liam gallagher pillow which scares the shit out of me everytime I walk in her room!

Shame about the United posters but otherwise a great room. I remember having a room full of posters at that age. Good times.

I think the main reason it's not sold out already is because of the price increases.
Tbh I would be fuming if I got to the front and it was £355 for a bloody standing ticket!
Nice to see Liam and Noel have remembered their working class roots. This whole thing feels like a massive cash grab tbh.

I have been on since before Dublin went on sale and only got to front in past half hour due to being thrown off numerous times to see that the only tickets available are the over priced in demand ones. It’s pure greed!

Managed to get tickets for croke park on Sunday for 200 each for seating. Not too bad all things considered.

So many used different emails for that too, on a group I’m in a woman got a presale code on her email, her husbands & their friends. They’re going twice

I’m happy I’ve got my tickets and I’m lucky it was before the surge pricing took hold, but there’s so many genuine folk out there who’ll still luck out because of pure greed.

Omg , I don't know one single person who got presale code and only a handful I know got general sale. I saw someone on threads post a list that they got tickets for , it was nearly every show! Not sure if it was just bullshit for engagement though.

I get why some people want to go to some concerts more than once such as coldplay or Taylor swift where they actually put a show (not that i condone it when people can't get one ticket) but oasis will be more of a gig and once should be enough
