I’m not from the US but is having a secret gun room in your house normal? Kass was showing her house plans and this is what I noticed….
Just seen this. They don’t openly talk about guns or being into hunting etc. I am sure Utah allows for concealed weapons as well. So maybe they know it’s controversial and don’t discuss.

They’re quite good at withholding info. Like the fact they had an apartment in the house that Kass lived in.

The family only had a Daycare so Nayvee, who was returned to her birth mother, could come stay during the day. Nayvee is Native American and adopting NA children by non natives is very difficult due to federal law. I think the adoption was finally finalized 3 or 4 years ago.

Tiffany mentioned during their backyard tour that she prayed for the land their house was built on, even though they had no money at the time. I wonder when they built the house and if she was still working at the time?
Knew Nayvee was the reason for the daycare but didn’t realise her heritage.

I think as a family they are loving and try to understand other cultures etc. i think doing that for her was lovely. She went back to her birth mum but it didn’t workout.

Yes she’s pregnant and she bought 11 pairs of baby trainers to announce it to her siblings that were there. I don’t think they gave her the reaction she was quite looking for. I really don’t know what Josh sees in her and how he puts up with her. She’s just so unlikeable. I like all the other siblings but not her.
I find her really unlikeable. I liked the older sister but she’s becoming a bit hyper like Kass. I think she’ll calm down tho.

Kass will not cope well not being the centre of attention. She’s very mean girl and bratty.

I think his family would be fine with it eventually; it’s their church that wouldn’t be IMO. I think their church’s environment would cause more problems for him than his own family.
I think both the parents are loving so would accept. It would just be hard to align it with their beliefs but I think they try to be open minded as much as they can be when they live under such a strict religion.

Tiffany the mother I must admit is amazing at designing, she drew up plans for a full neighbourhood of the castle type she has now, I think it was their previous house before they went bankrupt. She is really talented.

I think the Nelsons are good people generally and o do like their BTS videos however every video seems to be a lot of consumerism and buying new stuff.
I’d love to see them reusing their school things or sorting out nice things which are no longer wanted to go to the thrift store. They could really “bless” by donating their brand name things which are goof condition as a thrift store would be able to resell and make a good return and also poorer folk could get nice quality things 2nd hand.

EDIT- typos

I used to enjoy their back to school stuff but the backpack and emergency kit videos are just shills for their own crappy brand backpacks which are likely cheap drop ship ones with their logo stuck on

I think it’s great they’ve adopted so many kids especially sibling groups who are had to place but I have to say their home looks like a fancy foster home more of the time than a forever family home. I also think they have way too much new clothes shoes ever year. Kids want for nothing except normalcy I guess.
Also I’m surprised adopted kids are allowed to be broadcast over the internet. Where I’m from there’s really strict rules on that to protect kids being taken back by birth families

Ok, I was briefly pleased when it seemed like they were going to make a proper go of school in Maui rather than... pissing around... and having their kids fly around "working"....

but their new afterschool routine it does seem
Like the kids are in high school proper but the stupid b!nt Tiffa-kneeee hasn't blurred her kids school logo off their polo shirts

I'm not going to say the name of the school but OFC their "public school" is actually a fancy Prep school!

I’m pretty sure he’s a developer and They lost a lot of business and money in 2007 during the recession. He is now a soccer coach? The mum was an architectural designer, but I’m guessing by the hand drawn plans of Kass’ house that it was a long time ago (drafting is now all computerised). I think once she started adopting lots of kids, it was easier for her to open a day care so she could also care for her own.
Also is Utah really cheap to buy land in? Lots of these Mormon families have huge houses!
he still has his company, because in Kass her video about her new house she said her dad is going to build it.

On the whole I enjoy a lot of their videos and I like the organising videos the Mom does.

however I’m always kinda shocked by how there’s no books/reading material in the house aside from their Scriptures. The kids seem to be entertained by the internet and cheer only; and it worries me how much the preteen girls are encouraged to do hair and makeup so young- PresLee (age 10) has got ridiculous nails done and she’s going back to school next week.

aome of the kids do seem sweet and I wonder if the hyped up personas are mainly for YouTube.

also, Tiff REALLY loves back to school, lol 😆

Is it normal to get a new backpack every single year? Shoes I get because they are worn more, but it just seems so excessive and wasteful that every child got a new one. What about their bags from last year? This family is resourcefully wasteful!
I agree! I am sure that a few of the bags needs replacing but I highly doubt that every child needs a new bag!

Just came across this family today and thought that there must be a Tattle thread on them. Their house looks like a Disney castle, and the kids clothes must cost a fortune! What on earth do the parents do for a living?
