Im thinking of getting that one as I’ve always used SanDisk. I know there’s an official Nintendo Samsung one but I’ve been told the SanDisk is a wee bit faster
You will need to get the express one, I had originally wanted to take mine out the switch one an just use that but they have made it so you need the express, it's due to the speeds on the 2 or something

New Nintendo direct at 5pm UK time. I think it's been leaked that some of it is the Zelda followup. I'm hoping for a remake of the N64 Zelda games for switch, breath of the wild was alright but a bit too much for me.

I’m so tempted to buy a switch. If I can find one. 😂 I used to always play stardew valley on my ex’s laptop and I’ve just learned that it’s on the switch. I want Animal crossing too, used to always play that.

I'm not sure if I should get animal crossing.

I just don't get it 😐 people talk of it being addictive and daily tasks. It sounds like something that'll add to my workload.

Has anyone bought games from Music magpie please? And recommendations for games similar to Pokémon? (strategy / puzzle type games)

I never played Zelda before and got Breath of the Wild because of all the reviews, but I just couldn't get into it :( and traded it for Pokemon.

Final dlc for fire emblem released so I got back into that, am tempted to watch the end of the story on YT because I don't have the patience to play the long chapters to see how it all ends 😅 but at the same time if I watch it then I'll probably never finish the game an I'd like too, especially because I feel it hasn't gripped me like three houses did, I have so many hours in that game

Yeah I wasn't keen on the Pokémon designs, I do love this one, if they had done a hogwarts legacy one I'd have bought it there an then 😅 was a bit hmmm that PS got a controller designed for it an Xbox done nothing

Anyone else thinking of buying it again with this switch pro that should be announced pretty sokn? I'm hoping it's a far better quality screen with less bezels and 4k on the TV would be nice! Haven't got into the Witcher 3 on switch because it feels like it would be too botched as is
If we can afford it then maybe. Hoping there will be more info about the switch pro at E3

Bought our Switch a few years back - got two official docks, extra controllers, clutch of SD cards that are 'co-ordinated' with genres of games.

Two docks - one for behind the telly in the house, the other is 'screwed' into the panel in the campervan so we can take it on camp and mainly play trivial pursuit or a game I can't remember the name of where you build a tower. Lots of family games for the evenings or rainy days. Some one player jobbies for the times where we are reading or doing chill stuff.

That's my thing, its expensive and I doubt they;ll ever get proper good third party games, regardless of what some Hardcore Nintendo cultists will tell you.
Tbh I think they have mostly all of the same games as other platforms an are still working to get some, as far as quality goes though, consoles like Xbox an PS will always have far better quality, even with the switch 2 I could still see games play better on the other platforms, the quality difference in say hogwarts legacy is night an day compared to the Xbox/PS an I don't think the 2 will be much different, I think people were comparing it closer to the PS4/Xbox One which while it's ok it's not to the standard of current consoles

Mostly I get it for the Nintendo games which I think most do, their own are good quality due to them only ever being made specifically for the switch, any other games though I'll stick to other platforms since eventually there's deals an the quality is much better

Animal Crossing is amazing! Very therapeutic to play, especially during these times.
Played Mario Odyssey and loved it. Tried Breath of the Wild but couldn't get into it, planning on giving it another go though.
Skyrim is one of my favourite games on Playstation so highly recommend it for something really immersive.
LA Noire I thought was only alright.

Excited it’s finally been announced but do they really need three months before we get a proper direct about it?

Hoping it comes in white too. Not keen on the all black.
Won't the direct be sooner? I thought when it gave that 3 month date it was for it's release, so we'd be getting a direct before it's out, or have I picked it up wrong
