Fire emblem engage come out today, anyone else get it? Am loving it, happy they brought back the fighting style from three houses as three hopes felt a bit like a mash button fight

So I’ve only just bought a switch, have been stuck into animal crossing for a few days, but wanting to explore some two player games. I currently only have one controller and saw above a few of you have had to try several different ones. Has anyone got any recommendations or do I just need to cough up for proper ones?!

Is TotK a continuation of BotW? I've been playing BotW for the first time, no idea how far into it I am but am curious to see what TotK is like, I don't want to spoil any of the story of BotW though if it's picking up where it left off, am I better just completing BotW first?

I have no idea, I had a look and couldn’t see anything. Has it maybe been updated?Random question, can you bookmark games on the switch?
Everytime I go onto the switch there's a game I haven't played at the start, it's got a little box above it with a ↓ on it, I've no idea how I done that, did I bookmark it an if so can you remove it so you can bookmark another?
It doesn't bother me, just made me curious as to what it is an how I done it

Am looking forward to the chat function an screen share, the Nintendo is loooong overdue being able to have chat, but the screen share looks pretty awesome, I just hope it's up to standard an we don't end up with blurry screens that's constantly buffering, if they can make sure it works great then I'd say it's going be an amazing feature
I didn't mind the wooden sword breaking in the early Zelda's, but it's just that everything breaks so quickly. Was excited to get the master sword but that effectively breaks after a few minutes and needs to be recharged or something.
Most recipes it seems abit pointless going to the effort to collect various items to mix them and get 3 hearts. Woopdie doo . And for the stuff to make something special to save yourself from electric or something I'd rather opt out of that. I spend enough time cooking and dealing with nonsense IRL.
I'm aware that I'm a grumpy old woman, but this stuff isn't for me and I consider it wasting my time and effort.

I have a Switch Lite I hardly ever use but for some reason I’m tempted to buy a Switch 2.

I have re-bought so many old games I had on various Playstation consoles - Ni No Kuni (Ghibli aesthetics) and Final Fantasy IX (obviously super old graphics but reminds me of being a teenager). Maybe revisit an old favourite, the advantage of the Switch is you no longer have to take over the TV if you play handheld.

I'm a lifelong Nintendo gamer, so I'm used to overpaying for games/accessories. I get that they're often higher quality, but they so rarely reduce prices.

I personally only ever buy the official ones. I just find the third party ones poorer quality and less responsive.

Depends on what you like, I tend to stick to the more known company's because Nintendo has a habit of allowing junk to go into their store, but I do find myself always going back to the fire emblem games, stardew valley, fae farm, atelier games, my time at sandrock
If you enjoyed a little to the left you might also like hue, the witness, shady part of me, gris, botony manor, jusant, Marquette, dorgdone, broken age, the gardens between, superliminal, twelve minutes, carto, Omno, all of them have that puzzle element to them, am not sure if all of them or some are on Nintendo, I play all so it's hard to keep track of who has who, but all are I'd say a few hours worth of play so definitely grab them when on sale, I find that once you play a puzzle game there's no real replay with them since you know how it's done after completing but they are fun for a one off
Spiritfarer is also a really sweet game, an unpacking is really nice as well, another little puzzle game

New horizons was my fist AC game, so it would be cool to play the older ones with a new modern look to see what they were like, some of the fire emblem games have done that, just remade the older ones with newer updated designs an its how I ended up really loving them, I'd reckon it would also cut down some time as well on getting the games out since they aren't really starting from scratch an are just giving it a fresh look

My niece got a Switch for Christmas, I hadn't really given them much thought. But when I was looking after her one day when she was off school sick, she was showing me Crash Bandicoot, and oh my goodness I really want one now! It had the exact same levels as the one I played as a youngster on my PS1 
so nostalgic.
so nostalgic.
I wish I didn't find botw so complex as I'm sure it's a good game. I'm just not that excited about a sequel
