Again, Nigel is part of the establishment. He comes from money and he has enough of it, otherwise he wouldn't be able to have a Coutts account. He plays the "plebs" like a fiddle.

Nigel can't whinge about freedom of speech when he's had a massive platform in the media for some years now to spout his antagonistic drivel.
You’re obsessed with the Coutts account! They will take anyone who has enough cash. (I don’t).

I couldn’t care less where anyone banks. And what are you on about re ‘the plebs’? Who even speaks like that for the last 30 years?

Your gripes against Farage seem more a reflection of your own chippiness than anything he has done or said.

I see your hero isn't even trying to hide who he is these days. The desperate rambings of a pathetic vile cunt.

Don't see what's wrong with this- he doesn't say all Muslims don't subscribe to British values, he said some of them don't.

Well of course you don’t. What values does Farage subscribe to?
And what are these “British values”? Being a grubby, money grabbing, racist cunt? I’m not sure many non-Muslims subscribe to those either.

As much as many people disagree. I've always liked Nigel. whether people agree with the views fully or not, he's passionate and has dedicated his whole life to trying to make Britain be in charge of Britain. It's pretty difficult to see how brexit has worked considering the pandemic happened around the time the deal ended up going through, lockdowns etc caused huge economical problems around the world, so until things settle back again, we're not able to follow the deal fully. Plus the current government is shite, Nigel gets no say in how they handle brexit or any of the decisions they make as he's not an MP , never has been.

i think he's been genuine in IAC, and people need to remember he's a human too not just a politician. Makes me like him more knowing it's pretty clear ITV have tried to make a fool out of him, try and trip him up to do something wrong, or even just avoid any airtime for him. But whatever happens after the show he's still won ... massive paycheck and I'd say a decent chunk of support 😂
I think ITV assumed he'd make a right dick of himself on IAC and that Nella/Fred maybe even Tony would rip him to shreds. When that didn't happen they've all but erased him from the show.
So obvious - same as they're grooming the public to love Josie.

I didn’t even know about this so looked it up- I just think the way it gets reported is always so twisted.
Nigel seems to have said he is part of the same phenomenon as Andrew Tate in regards to him being an important voice for the emasculated. Not anything to do with the unrelated statement that he condones violence against women who don’t obey men.

It’s questionable I agree- I don’t think he should be aligning himself with AT. That’s stupid. He may not know all the details about him- he’s quite a Gen Z thing? He may just have seen his promotional videos
I'm sorry but that's bollocks. I can't bloody stand Farage but I'm certain he's not stupid. He knows full well who Andrew Tate is and what he's about. He just doesn't care about the kind of women these men target. He's all about appealing to the lowest common denominator, he's a 'man of the people' drinking down the local, commiserating with men who think women owe them sex, just like any good working class fellow...

...Except he's not, he's a millionaire ex hedge fund manager, with a French partner and children who all have EU citizenship through their mothers (Irish and German). He doesn't give a flying fuck about the people who vote for him, beyond what they can do for him. And I guarantee that if AT was sniffing around his daughter's he'd be (rightly) furious.

There is a very good reason that he is on GB News and we all know why that is (home to Laurence Fox etc).
It never fails to amaze me that, in this country, the number of scumbags who get away with holding appalling views and make a living by fooling the gullible public, do so by using a posh accent and wearing expensive cloths.
Over the years his racist and misogynist views have been well documented, yet here he is again, being supported by apologists who choose to ignore what he clearly is.
The man is in the same category as Tommy Robinson, Katie Hopkins, Laurence Fox, Suella Braverman, Priti Patel, Enoch Powell, Nick Griffin, Donald Trump, Vlad Putin and Adolf Hitler. If you are happy to be in that company, fine, but let’s not pretend that he is a normal, decent human being.
I quite like Katie Hopkins 🤣

No way do I agree with his politics I veer to the left but I like him as a bloke on IAC far nicer and more decent than Hancock, seems like a team player and willing to have a laugh at his own expense, is also able to accept his limitations.I have actually voted for him to stay as well, so that the two witches would leave.Well, one has but I bet ITV's darling Josie will win it.

The issue’s that both sides- those who think it’s immigration and those who think it’s austerity/Brexit- get really het up and passionate about their sole chosen reason for the UK’s societal problems. That goes for politicians too. If we just accept it’s a bit of both we’ll start to see the bigger picture :)
Yep. So many people are so hard line. They genuinely do believe it's as simple as ___, and if you don't agree then you're wrong. End of.

Closed minds. Not interested in any discussion of a complicated situation. Their mind is made up.

All so reductive and helps no one. But we are where we are.

The people coming here in small boats are coming from FRANCE, so I’m not entirely sure what it is about the UK that makes them willing to risk their lives to leave that and come here illegally.

Or am I?

I don't understand why folk don't contemplate how bad their lives must be to literally get in a small boat, sometimes with their kids, and risk their entire lives to just get to somewhere safe.
Excuse my ignorance but I thought the boats coming to the uk where coming from a safe country? no??

Celeb jungle wise Farage seems a nice guy, I'll definitely be taking more notice of who he is and what he's about but for now I'm hoping he wins over the exaggeration? that is Sam 👿

This thread is a real eye-opener - and not in a good way. It brings to mind some of the stuff I've read about murderers, psychopaths, paedophiles, mobsters, 'respectable' celebrities etc. There's always people saying how nice & ordinary they seemed, so when anything emerges suggesting they're far from it, the response is to excuse them or act shocked.

As far as Farage goes, I'd always advise his fans to follow the money. He's a serial grifter just like Yaxley-Lennon & Hopkins. The Breaking Point poster (and many other public comments) show he's happy to stir up hatred, weaponise prejudice and claim to be anti-establishment while being affiliated with and in receipt of donations from some very sketchy billionaire funded right-wing/libertarian groups.

His latest performative 'victimhood' is par for the course. More fool ITV for paying him £1.5m to play out his 'man of the people' shtick to viewers, many of whom (sad to say) place "personality" above any sort of principled approach to public service. Another example is his commitment to destroying the NHS in favour of a US-style insurance model, despite the NHS saving his sorry arse a few years back.

This is not me calling voters thick, it's decrying the sorry state of our heavily biased media and massively underfunded education system, both of which mean that civic understanding and critical thinking skills are not hugely valued or encouraged by the establishment.

He's held himself well and is being honest and truthful to his beliefs imo. The others in IAC have not come across well or even listened to his reasons and shown their ignorance on how they interact with him.

I'm from London and that's not always true
Agree, I live on the outskirts of London in a community that is mostly made up of immigrants and it is feral. Absolutely zero integration is happening and they treat the area like a rubbish dump, it is filthy. Coming from New Zealand where we are taught at a young age to “be a tidy kiwi” it is sad to see.

Well done Nigel on 3rd place. Despite the caustic comments from some campmates, despite the laughable Daily Mirror's campaign to boycott and throw you off the show. The silent majority are behind you!

Jesus Christ, have I wondered into a GB News forum?

His beliefs are appalling and he's a vile person. Without him, Brexit wouldn't have gotten over the line. Another reason why he's an immense twat.
And you're an immense twat for using the crude americanism "gotten". Learn to speak English, you illiterate moron!
