Nicola Bulley Missing #5

I was very certain she had for whatever reason fallen in the river.
however over the timelines- something just doesn’t add up.
The person who discovered NB’s phone- the caravan owner, approached the scene and says she saw the harness on the floor, the dog lookin agitated, and the phone on the floor. She picked the phone up n put it back on the bench and tied dog up with string & then left the area, possibly calling her DIL before or after she arrived home. DIL didn’t get there until 10.50, dog and phone still in same location as caravan owner left it.
so I have questions
- why was the caravan owner carrying a random piece of string, does this mean she had seen willow/Nicola off the leash before coming to the area?
- why did she not take the phone back with her if she couldn’t take the dog?
- if caravan owner wasn’t walking her own dog and had an appointment to rush to what was she doing in the park at that time in the first place?

Also it’s coincidence that the only cctv camera not working was the one linked to the caravan park, which they may have access too.

Constance Marten is doing it at the moment with her newborn (and partner) but she has masses of money, that’s not getting this level of attention! If it did, they might be found…

During a bout of insomnia last night I started reading these threads (because of course reading something compelling on a backlit screen is the right thing to do)

I think collectively we have become so used to true crime documentaries and suchlike that we see the ‘signs’ everywhere. Also the way she does seem to have vanished could just as easily form the opening scenes of a good psychological thriller novel or movie.

I think the most likely scenario is she fell into the river and the weight of her waterlogged clothes coupled with the cold weather slowing bacterial grown down are holding her body down. It’s uncomfortable to think that though, it makes us aware if our own mortality.

the main thing that’s bugging me at the moment is the fact that there is so much media attention around this when Constance Marten also vanished yet doesn’t seem to be attracting the same level of attention. If you say the name ‘Nicola Bulley’ to me I instantly know who you mean but Constance’s name doesn’t spring to mind as easily.

I think a lot of people (especially on the FB groups) should remember that Nicola, Constance and any other missing people are someone’s loved one.

I don't have a dog but if I saw a phone lying on a bench next to a dog, I would 100% assume someone's coming back for the dog in a minute - maybe they nipped off for a wee or something. No way I'd take the phone or dog home tbh.

Until today I've been thinking she fell in the river, most likely explanation, the longer time goes on and she's not found I'm not so sure. One thing I was thinking - and sorry if this has been covered, I didn't see but these threads move very fast - was the person who claims to have seen her at 9.10 a regular in the park? I'm just thinking, I walk the same walk every day, I see the same people and their dogs almost daily, but if you asked me today did I see X person I'd probably think 'yes' but actually I might've just seen them yesterday. It's a familiarity thing, I'm not sure how reliable that kind of eyewitness testimony is when it's someone you see regularly? Obviously a difficult one but it makes the window for someone taking her that bit more believable for me if the 9.10 sighting was someone who saw her regularly and was mistaken about seeing her that day.

I'm still hoping for her sake she's in the river tbh, a quick drown would likely be far less suffering than whatever some sicko could have done/be doing to her. I do think if she's been taken it's likely someone she sees often in that park who knows the area intimately, maybe another dog walker who beckoned her over or she saw their dog 'escaping' so went over to help (leaving her own).

Facebook army stating that Nicola is actually Emma. Emma had dyed her hair since the event and has moved in with Paul to look after the children.

This is really getting out of hand now and starting to sound really sinister.
I hope the police are keeping tabs on these fucking nutters.

My first thought seeing that cctv footage of the woman putting the dog in the car is (a) she looks very stressed and unhappy (b) it doesnt look like the photos in the press of Nicola and (c) the clothing isnt what would come to mind given the polices description of what Nicola was wearing.

It looks like Emma White to me, the black puffa coat....

I think the husband is involved. Strange how lots of people are asking whether the girls are his. When he spoke in that first interview it didnt sound like his children or that he was searching for his beloved partner, the mother of THEiR daughters. All seems very odd to me, cant put my finger on it.

Also who says it was Nicola on the teams call if she didnt have the camera on or speak.

And finally who even knows it was Nicola who sent the text about the playdate....Just saying....

Ok, so playing devils advocate here for a minute. Say the partner is involved. Emma was dressed as Nicola that morning, it’s all an elaborate cover up…

A) The girls would notice it wasn’t mummy dropping them at school. They’d know the difference between Emma and Nicola. You can be sure they’ve been asked.
B) teachers or other parents would have noticed it wasn’t nicola at school
C) people on the walk would have noticed it wasn’t nicola, because they recognised her and willow from seeing them regularly on this walk or from around their small village
D) And this is almost as difficult as tricking the girls in to believing Emma was mummy because she had her coat on - how did Emma, pretending to be Nicola, get out of the bench area when the police are 100% certain that the person in the coat (whether nicola or Emma) did not leave the scene because it is all either covered by cctv or they’ve checked dashcams and doorbells on the only route that doesn’t have cctv.

Just watched the most infuriating tiktok live. A "paranormal" hunting group, from out of the area, deciding to go and search for NB. Also accepting big gifts towards a drone as they "aren't giving up." Anyway, the comments were all anti police, you're doing a better job than police blah blah.

They said they were on the top field earlier and had found a glove that they'd handed into the police. During this live they'd decided they were going to go and search one of the lanes around the nearby farm, but police were blocking the lane (probably aware from social media that groups were out.) However this group decided they were conducting enquiries because THEY found the glove.

People in the comments were unreal. Speculating the police were there because they'd found her. This group saying they're going back tomorrow because a medium has told them she's in a field and they think the police aren't doing enough. It's so unfair on the family and friends, including the fact the eldest daughter is eldest enough to scroll through tiktok likely.

Sorry for the rant, it made me fuming!! I hope the police can continue their investigation without the public getting in the way or potentially harming themselves furthermore

Is it the same ones that found a tennis ball aswell, I saw someone say they found a glove and a tennis ball, but the police weren't interested. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if some of these idiots are planting items there themselves and then film themselves 'discovering them'. It was a bad move not cordoning off that entire area. It would have stopped all this nonsense.

Or the dog could of been thirsty then couldn't get up the bank for whatever reason so Nicola had to go to retrieve her then fell in by accident.

Except (and I can’t believe I’m saying this) the dog was dry.

My heart goes out to Nicola’s family, I didn’t want her to be in the river, but really wanted some closure for the family because I honestly can’t see how she’s still alive after 13 days. I pray that poor family get answers soon, they must be going through absolute hell.

Whilst Peter and the team have done incredible work, I still feel he’s been a bit disrespectful and insensitive talking so much to the press. Like someone else said, why couldn’t he just refuse to comment and get on with the job? I do feel some men in certain positions have a bit of a hero complex, even if they are doing something good and have to somehow turn things into a show and tell!

Hopefully he’s had good intentions with all of this, I guess the main thing is he’s helped the family and they’re content with everything he’s done.

This case really breaks my heart for the two daughters. I lost my father 20 years ago in mysterious circumstances, he’d gone missing for a few days and was found dead. He’d fallen from a window and we will never know if it was accidental or suicide.

I was lucky that he was found, but not knowing what happened has still haunts me and I really hope Nicola’s daughters get tons of support as they get older, those poor little girls

It did cross my mind whether she could have had a stalker. From what I've read, her personal facebook and business page are set to public. And I read that she frequently shared her walks/route on her business page. I still however think she's more likely to be in the river but theres just alot of different possibilities, that can't really be 100% ruled out.
Theres definitly lots of lessons to be learned about personal and online safety.

My mental health is truly shocking atm. Normally things like this don't bother me if it's someone I don't know. I do empathise of course but never let it cause me distress, but this truly has triggered me and I really don't know why. Now I'm obsessively checking the news for updates.

I'm driving my partner mad as he's involved in this story but I keep talking about it.

It's effected so many people, why???

It’s triggered us all because we are women. Regular women. An ordinary activity that millions of us do nearly everyday, taking our kids to school, walking the dog, shopping, or even going for a simple walk, shouldn’t have any danger in it. We are, all of us, Nicola. #IamNicola

Sadly I doubt they care, especially if they can flock to an area that a women has likely drowned, sit on a bench where she possibly last sat before she entered the water and take selfies as if it’s something to celebrate. I honestly wouldn’t dream of doing that I think it’s sick/vile.

It’s horrible. What are they actually expecting? Why would they want to be there? It’s so wrong.

Shes not going to come out with her hair in a pony tail, looking like Nicola in her coat. At this stage even with the water being cold she’s going to be decomposing. The water will have made her bloat, her skin will have changed colour and started breaking down, her eyes will likely be gone and there will be bugs/fish eating parts of her. When she is finally recovered it’s going to be awful to witness. Why on earth would anybody want to see that and sit on the bench and watch??

I haven’t kept up with all the threads because they move so fast but I can’t believe they still haven’t found her. I’m about 90% convinced she’s in the river but you just can’t say for certain can you. Just the thought of her being in there somewhere while her partner and daughters are at home with no answers breaks my heart. If this was a tragic accident I hope to god she didn’t suffer too much. I feel quite sad about the whole thing tonight
