I'd assumed that as Carlo's son is from an earlier relationship that maybe he was still married, technically, to his son's mother ? Probably got that completely wrong ! Nicki still uses her maiden name, Storey, doesn't she ? Nowt wrong with that, before anyone comes for me !

It was discussed here a while ago that Nicky mentioned on a vlog that she and Carlo were not married and she sounded quite annoyed about it. Some here also wondered about the timeline of their meeting, asking if C might have still been with the son's mother when he got together with N.

@VeeJayBee I wondered that too ! Carlo's son hasn't been shown in their videos for ages, he's a chef I believe, they used to do cooking segments with him sometimes.
I'd also noticed that his son Tommaso was not on the vlogs recently. I wouldn't read too much into that because in the past he'd be shown, then not appear for a while, then reappear. I think they said he had a new job working a bit further away as a pastry chef so maybe he's not around as much. It seems as if he lived with his mum when he grew up.
She's said they aren't married. I assume they just say husband/wife as they've been together for so long. My manager does the same as she's never married her partner but they've been together 30+ years.

Latest vlog. The real reason they are going to Tuscany. During their property hunt in April they found the ideal house there and have been trying to buy it but are being thwarted by multiple contractual issues. Brief glimpse of it shown, she will do a one or two part vlog about it.

Latest vlog is so dreary. It was billed as "swimming to England", stopping each day of the road trip at a non-sea bathing spot. Except she was scared to do it, or it was too cold, or Carlo was ill, so only managed it a couple of times.
I suspect she knows wild swimming is a popular pursuit of middle-aged, middle-class women so chose it as a theme. These would be just the types she'd d hope to attract as subscribers and eventual Patrons.

Has anyone heard the podcast where Nicky was interviewed on the Jits into the Sunset podcast, who are also YouTubers apparently. They were staying in her Airbnb and much of the interview was spent blowing smoke up her a - and boy she was there for it. All about how she always challenges herself, how creative she is, as well as being a make up artist she's a qualified soap maker who had her own soap company, she writes books, she's very musical playing the piano, ukulele and saxaphone, she has a digeridoo, doesn't watch TV, doesn't even know how to turn it on, she crotchets and does stained glass blah blah blah. To me she comes off more like a hustling dilettante crafter than an amazing creative, and seems a bit chippy about not being educated past school.
Lots of talk about how she and Carlo lived on £750 a month for years, nothing was easy, it took them 9 years to save up for the kitchen reno. Said she went to a private school but never took anything from her parents. No mention this time of the London flat she inherited.

She started sharing her life online because she wanted others to see the beauty of Positano
I do like that she speaks lovingly and proudly about her parents.
She has mentioned briefly in the past that she doesn't drink anymore, in the interview she said she will be 5 years clean in Jan 2023. She said drinking was a family trait, her brother went to rehab and in recovery said he couldn't be with her if she was drinking. She'd been drinking half a bottle of wine and a big slug of whiskey each night. She stopped cold turkey which I think is quite an accomplishment. Her dad also no longer drinks.

Haven't seen it an doubt I.will, but 750 a month when not paying rent/mortgage, most.of the food you eat etc... that's not that little. Well done her for giving up alcohol if she felt it was an issue but her financial situation for me makes no sense

I wondered to myself why on earth she would buy sushi and let it rot in the heat while they are very busy filming other people in their cossies without their permission. And sure enough they ended up with a tummy bug for two days. Wonder how that happened.

Do we think they're getting a freebie on their channel crossing back to Europe? Her Stories reads like an ad and she's tagged Le Shuttle. I also think it's not cool showing the numberplates of other vehicles while boarding.

Latest vlog contains an update about the Tuscany house purchase. It's still dragging on due to other parties involved in the sale but they're hoping for a positive outcome this week.
They are no longer thinking of doing an Airbnb there so chose a smaller place with land where they can escape Positano in the winter and high summer, and for the future if they are less mobile. N wants a place of her own because she considers the Positano gaff Carlo's - a not-so-subtle way of saying "I'm paying".
They compare their property purchase experience to that of their friends - and fellow Patreon grifters - Sara and Luca, who found a property in Sicily in spring and are already in with works taking place. I tried to watch their vlogs on the topic but I can't stand their creepy excessive grinning and over-exposure of their child, I'm sure even the child's grandparents would be bored.
