Clickbait makes me so mad, and I wonder how many switch off and unsubscribe when one of their favourite vloggers does this. There was recently a comment on another youtube channel about how disgusted someone was that clickbait was used to imply that something tragic was going to happen to their dog. The comment received hundreds of up ticks and a lot of other comments of support in a very short space of time. Viewers really don't like it.
And now we have the "I am a professional soap maker" story again. I understand and even applaud her trying to make some extra money by producing something useful for her fans. It is much better, imo, than simply grifting through Patreon or Buy Me A Coffee stunts. But I do hope we are not going to have the recipe and lemon (apt!) book sagas again. Yes, I know she has to self-promote, but over and over again with the books, on youtube and instagram every damn time she popped up. Is it going to be same with the soap?
Maybe she should let Carlo take over after all. I think he has a much better idea of what their fans want. I was surprised she left so much of his bad English and hesitancy in for all the see. It would have been so much kinder if she had helped him prepare a script in English for him to read over the lovely drone shots. Perhaps a mix of his Italian (such a sexy language

), a few live comments, and the rest in English as a narrative. Just until he feels more comfortable speaking in front of the camera. Fans love him.
It might also be a good plan for him to start his own channel, all in Italian, showcasing the Amalfi coast for others in his country wishing to visit. I think if he was not tied to Nicki, and if he did not have to speak English, he would make some really beautiful and interesting vlogs. I do not think he would be the type of person that would use clickbait

.
