Natacha can be really sneaky with her ads. There’s a really awkward pudding one that she shoe horned into her What I Eat In a Day while in Australia at the veeeeery end of the video.
Seriously? I'm so disappointed. I don't watch all her videos anymore, because I'm not invested in her as a person anymore, specifically for all these issues, and yet, I'm still disappointed...

Yeah, I think something really bad happened like a death in the family (though, generally you would still post about after a few days/weeks) or they broke up. My bet is that did break up.
How long have they been together? I've always thought they were a bit of an odd pairing, to be honest.

There was a bit of a a "didn't train, got second" humblebrag vibe, which personally I found a bit annoying cos I always feel like I have to work way harder than everyone else to just be mediocre and she's just out here getting phds and winning ironmen races.
I see what you mean. Although in this vey segment, I think she says more "I trained erally hard but like an idiot who didn't plan, and the one who won trained really hard but intelligently". But I think she didn't put it super clearly.

I felt like she was trying to blow past that by uploading the style of video that her audience ostensibly wants. I didn’t enjoy watching it which is new for a Natacha video. This challenge she set for herself felt kind of pointless because she’s spoken in the past about how in the history of her physical and mental health, the triathlon was actually a low point. Also, the leg compression things seemed like sponsored content. Weird.
Yes! I did enjoy it but I was disappointed by the video she chose to upload. I think she just needed something and that, all things considered, it's easier for Natacha to do these challenges than do a science explained video (which probably requires longer than a week of work and then editing). Also, all her training was alrerady laid out for her seeing as she waas following something she'd already done. Like you though, I did find it rreally weird she chose to go back to a low point in her life, without acknowledging thaat it was, in this particular video. Those who've been following herr diligently know, but others won't and she probably should've emphasised that, on top of saying "don't do whaat I did" but all the while being super happy about coming second and just finishing the race. Glossing over unhealthy habits is not the best. Unless she wasn't genuine about this past experience, but I very much doubt it.

It seems like half way through the video as well, 100% she had botox. Also the title, for someone so interested in science surely the veg etc she ate have carbs in? Either way just seemed like a very lazy video and something that a million people have done already years ago
She was “able” to have x amount of carbs per day, as per keto or whatever guidelines. Definitely not reinventing the wheel with that video, although unfortunately that low/no carb propaganda doesn’t seem to be going away.

It’s sad that others are suffering but tbf why would Natasha not take on board the amazing opportunity she is fortunate to have? If you had the same opportunity would you seize it? I would

It’s not her duty to acknowledge her privilege all the time. People would only moan it’s performative. It’s a no win situation in her eyes
actually very much is her duty. If you're that privileged (and participate in destroying the environment just for funsies) and have a large audience on big platforms like youtube and instagram, you must acknowledge your privilege. It's 2023 after all.

Loved the video but she did her cycle on the 29th May but then in another clip was listening to a drake song that was only released in September?
I rewatched it quickly, and at the end, she mentions seeing plums, so that part waas filmed in August/September as that's when plums are in season in England, couldn't have been in May. I really hope the watch waas just somehow not synced properly, otherwise it's just another disappointment.

For me I switched off when I found about the secretive app business she was involved in. I think she’s insanely performative and since I’ve noticed more and more issues with her and her content eg Botox
What was the app she was involved in?

Does anyone think her routine for the gym and diet is way more intense than she lets on?
I think it's hard to say, as training a lot as a teen/young adult gives you a big head start in getting a "good body". Also, add to that the pressure of being a fitness influencer and your body being part of your job... 🤷‍♀️

Has anyone got any of her guides? I'm tempted by the build (really trying to up my strength). I have a fair amount of kit at home (barbell, bench, free weights etc) and just need a bit more of a focus, but not sure if I will really need a gym or not

I don’t necessarily have a problem with her traveling, it’s not that uncommon for upper middle class people to go on one or more holiday a year, so it’s not any different environmentally to fly to Australia and stay for 3 months than 10 days. My thing is that she clearly is much better suited to a warm climate - why bother with London at all? She could just move to a better climate and fly less, stay in less airbnbs, etc.

Or maybe, they are just creating something completely niche that will take the world up by storm! And soon, we'll be able to workout with Chris Hemsworth or Zendaya!

Chris Hemsworth has his own workout app! It's called Centr and he does it with his stunt double. They have trainers from all over the world but you can do some with Chris himself!
