Why not Courtney? Maybe you can shorten it to Coco but if she doesn’t like it when she’s older eg in her job she can just use Courtney rather than being stuck with that as her name.Yeah i think im going to have to rethink hahha. I cant believe how hard I've found it to choose a name for her..i might like something for a little while and then ill wake up and not want to use it at all. Feel like she's going to be nameless forever at this rate![]()
That figures!! Surprised it's not even tackier reallyI imagine tie-lay-a, she made it up herself, that’s why you’ve never heard of it![]()
Does anyone actually like the name Neveah?!! I've never come across anyone named it but I'm sure there are plenty out there (the poor soulsCan’t bare the name Nevaeh. “It’s Heaven spelled backwards” - absolute chavviest of recent trendy names!
Why is Cohen offensive? XxThis could turn weird
Only ones I 'hate' are the ones that are offensive in some way: Cohen, Gypsy, Adolf (not that anyone would use that one) etc.
I have ones I dislike and wouldn't use but I don't really hate any others. Mispelt names make me cringe, a lot. Random Y's in names. Lyndon for London, Kaytlin etc.
I knew a neveah. Proper chavvy mumThat figures!! Surprised it's not even tackier really

It’s a bit of a debate but Cohen is one of the very few Hebrew-based surnames that Jews have been able to keep. It should be inherited rather than given just because it’s ‘cute’ and it represents a huge part of Jewish history - it’s one of the very few Jewish names that can be traced back to pre-holocaust. I’ve read that not every person of the Jewish faith is offended by it but a large portion are.Why is Cohen offensive? Xx
That article was really interesting! I briefly considered Cohen, had no idea of the history. It’s a bit of a debate but Cohen is one of the very few Hebrew-based surnames that Jews have been able to keep. There is more to it than that I think, this link is fairly good https://www.thedailybeast.com/the-big-baby-naming-battle
I think it’s fair to say that most Tattlers do have unpopular opinions (or common sense rather)I love this threadseems that Chloe’s across the nation(s) are known to be witches - why is this? I don’t know anyone with that name but for some reason I have that impression too
My daughter’s name came up once but I don’t think that’s much of a win as it’s kinda uncommon. I’m surprised that a few people have said Erin! It was on my list (vetoed for being ‘too American’) and I thought it was pretty non-offensive
Also all the currently popular names being slated, makes me wonder why they’re popular. Unless Tattlers all have unpopular opinions![]()
Actually it has a very nice meaning like peace and happiness, but people think of The Band Nirvana first.I hear a mum call her baby girl called Nirvana in the park![]()
I have a Theodore who we call Theo, I love it! My daughters name hasn’t appeared yet but I suspect it would get a lot of stick on hereMy sons middle name is Theo - it was short for Theodore - picked by my 8 year old who loved Alvin and the chipmunks at the timeWe were just thankful she didn’t choose Alvin....!
Same! Scottish lass here and hate the name Karl, I end up saying Karuull!! English folk sound posh when saying it as welloh that's funny it just sounds like car-L to me then again ive got a north american accent
I wonder if there is some hidden meaning with this one. "Soz, son. Your conception was somewhat of an error."I know someone who called their little boy Error.![]()
Same hereMy cat’s name.
