Totally. I reported Jo Jones for her Skin + Me dodgy ways, so hopefully the ASA will be onto her for that. Problem is they have no teeth, there are no proper sanctions, so all that happens is they get a talking to - big whoop No disincentive. Whole thing is a sickener, and all the while it’s a little club and they’re all patting each other on the back with their sly adverts and making money from unsuspecting, vulnerable followers.

I also reported her. I complained to Skin and Me too I got a reply to say they would reissue the guidelines to them as they should be marked as an ad.

Always a good listen to hear Jo try to ride on the coat tails of NB's big following, trying to attract followers to her own Middle Aged Minx YouTube vlog, where she shills and rarely discloses #ADs #sponsored etc

Jo has been pushing Super Facialist and Paula's Choice lately, let's see if she can shoehorn in reference to them on the non-commercial BBC.

How have I only just found this thread??? ! Can’t stand Baggott. I’ve been commenting on her occasionally on the Hirons thread because I didn’t realise this one existed! She’s so smug and sly, she really pisses me off.

That video last week - whether it was filmed before London went into tier 4 or not, what they were doing was still breaking the rules for tier 3. But that’s ok, influencers can do what they like as long as they can get their brand mentions in. It’s only us peasants who are supposed to stick to the rules.

The constant flicking back of both sides of her hair in every video is so annoying.

Also, that recent home hair dye video she did. Could anyone tell that she’d dyed her hair in the after shots? She was wanging on about how much her roots needed doing, but afterwards it didn’t look any different.

The hair flicking, drives me mad.

This before and after on the shampoo advert, sorry partly sponsored video too. How thick does she think we are. I’ve never seen her hair looking like the first pic ever. She’s rough dried it and not styled like she usually does. The after pic looks like she always has it.

What’s she talking about? Anyone’s hair would look that straight if a hairdresser had straightened it? I don’t remember straight hair being particularly a 90s thing only but to be fair she’d know better than me!! She does love showing her shoulders off doesn’t she!

No idea, the caption just says filming so that could mean anything. I didn’t understand the 90s hair reference either. Nobody I knew had hair like that back then - perhaps you had to live in the London cool girl media bubble to get the reference

As for the off the shoulder top, it’s her standard uniform these days I think she alters all her tops to have at least one shoulder on show. It’s a contractual requirement now for when she’s filming with brands: Nadine’s shoulders must be visible for a minimum percentage of the shoot. They’re her best feature.

I can’t actually believe she replied to somebody who had lost a parent to covid and was asking why they’re not socially distancing with “you do know we’ve had a test, that it wad my first holiday in over a year and Jo has done a lot for charity”. How entitled does she come across.
I don’t know who is the most annoying her, Hughes or Hirons.

I have to say, I’m not seeing what the some of you are regarding ageing on NB. She is a 57 year old woman, at the end of the day , she won’t look 25. She looks like she’s ageing at a fairly normal rate, tbh. She’s already said that she was a sun worshipper in her youth, no amount of skincare and injectables in your 40’s+ can undo the long term effects of years of unprotected sun exposure.

I am 100% with you on the time warp hair, the terrible tops and general annoyingness. The interrupting anyone she is with is infuriating. The ‘Beauty Hags’ series she had on YT with JoJones was just hours of video of Bags talking over Jo. So rude.

reality is if it hurts that much she either a. had a sloppy nurse or b. has an underlying issue. Either of those scenarios should be taken up with her practice. Not posted about in a makeup and skincare forum. She is getting on her soap box about speaking up, but what does she think posting in a FB group will do? Take it up with your GP hun!
