It seems Murphyruns is heading to Coventry Parkrun this weekend. I assume the Brooks lot are going as it looks like their meet up is this weekend. I might go along for a laugh as it’s not far from me. Be ready for an incoming cringe fest.

It baffles me how many of these micro influencers show their children to thousands and thousands of people (and weirdos) for the sake of a few quid. Poor kids don’t get a choice to be plastered all over social media.

Compared to previous flora runners - fair play to her and she is due credit. Promoted it a few times in stories & grid posts and ran the marathon in the flora top.

I don’t imagine flora go into it wanting more than that…

Why is she due credit?

The majority of Flora runners promoted it exactly the same way, did they not? (Except Runnerbens, I think she did one reel and didn’t run in her Flora top!) And a bunch of them did a training session with Paula Radcliffe that was all over Instagram. I don’t think Murphyruns did anymore more or less than most of them to be honest.

As a parent, I wouldn’t dream of posting my sick children on my Instagram stories for thousands of people to see. Another cry for attention. Absolutely agree 100%.
She isn’t in the public eye.
There is no public interest in why she’s gone quiet.
If it were a hospitalisation due to a misadventure or accident, you could share the “after” as a warning to those who might follow her.

But for something like this, it’s odd to go so heavy on it.

I found one of the photos very distressing.
I agree with you on all of the above. If my babies were in hospital, Instagram would be the last thing on my mind. Imagine being so consumed by your online presence that you need to justify why you have been quiet for a few days when your child has been in hospital. What a sad world.
