AnyFucker an unhealthy amount of time on Mumsnet. She seems to enjoy posting on threads in relationships where the OP is vulnerable, kicking them when they are down. Even worse are her fan club, applauding her for doing so. What sad, brainless characters they must be.

I tell you what irks me on Mumsnet. When someone posts something along the lines of my DH has gone missing. He said he was going to get milk and now it's almost 2am and he hasn't come back.
Then the next morning people pile in with "I hope he's ok OP and you're both getting some rest now" or some other pretend concern. No, you don't hope he is ok at all, you want the OP to come back on and say that it turns out the DH was with another woman and doing crack. But no they pretend to give a crap about the OP just so she will reply with the gossip for them. It is SO obvious!

Hilarious and frustrating in equal measures, I don’t really know to find url but will endeavour!

Only an hour away no less! The sycophants are out in force, tongues covered with polyps.
I don’t know anyone who has a second home! I know lots of people who have static and tourer caravans, but no one actually needs a second home do they? No doubt it’s in an idyllic area where the locals have been priced out by people like AnyFucker 🙄 (sorry thats the leftie in me coming out again 😂).

Mumsnet is so leftie and ‘woke’ and yet none of them see anything wrong with owning holiday homes or buying up affordable starter properties as ‘investments’ preventing youngsters from getting on the property ladder. Makes me laugh, they never practice what they preach do they?

i don’t understand anyone not allowing workmen (or women) to use their toilets, or not making them a cup of tea! I’ve never made any of them a meal though, but saying that I did make our plasterer a bacon butty because I could see he was trying to catch up on his work by missing lunch. I normally make them the first one or when I’m making myself one and say to help themselves as they go along.
My mum is like this. She’ll make tea and offer biscuits, or food etc but she hates it when workmen use the toilet. I don’t get it, really. I mean, what’d you want him to do, shit in the garden?

Mind you we did once have a tradesman who came in, mum said oh help yourself to the sweets and I literally watched him take the whole bowl of sweets, bowl and all. Just. Took it. Took it and left the house with it. I mean who leaves the house with SOMEONE ELSE’S BOWL. Never mind the sweets in it, that was a nice bowl as well. He said he wanted to give some sweets to his colleagues. Which was fine. Still didn’t need to take the fucking bowl though 😆 Sat there in disbelief. One of those moments where you can’t say anything.

It’s going to be a hot bed of hysteria, teeth gnashing and wailing over the update from the PM today. Most of the COVID threads are so hysterical, one minute they want everything locked down for eternity, next minute MN royalty should be allowed to their second home.... totally hypocrisy!
This time last year they were practically foaming at the mouth over Covid. Ranting about the government not doing enough, screeching that children are super spreaders and schools needed to be closed ASAP, raging about people with ‘persistent coughs’ being outside in public, telling us that we were on the same path as Italy and soon there would be bodies piled up in the street etc (Yes, really). And then when it happened and they had to homeschool little Tarquin and Isabella alongside doing their ever so important jobs from home, and the reality wasn’t all sweetness and light the tone changed and it was ‘I can’t live like this anymore, I’m lying on kitchen floor crying with frustration, I haven’t hugged my DM for three weeks’. Then the teacher bashing came, how dare they want to stay safe in their place of work when my child is suffering severe mental distress by being at home (yeah right hun) and I am unable to my ever so important job.

And don’t get me started on the endless ‘Can I do this’ posts. How the fuck do you expect MN to know? It’s fairly easy to access government advice. MN is not some all knowing oracle.

Does anyone else get annoyed that they eat the same shite again and again and it’s always the same recipes 😭

Chilli con carne with little to no spices and lashings of cheese with crusty bread
The most bland spaghetti bolognese recipe I have ever seen with crusty garlic bread
Hearty warming winter stew with crusty bread

I read a really sad thread yesterday about a woman who’s son was forcibly adopted a decade ago because of an abusive partner, and the amount of people who were blaming her or not believing her because ‘social services don’t do that’ was actually sickening.. victim blaming at its finest. I have never read such a sad thread and the amount of people purposefully still putting the boot in was so awful 😞 i will definitely be taking a break.

AnyFucker is vile. There also used to be an equally vile poster called HullyGully.
HullyGully was awful. She was a total bitch. I haven’t seen her username in ages, but if anyone starts a thread about MN Royalty and mentions her, she magically appears on it, so she’s still lurking somewhere.

Yes not part of the gang though so they didn't care what I said! Or take any notice.
I was on the Reddit threads for a while too. And despite them slagging off MN Royalty, they had their own little clique on there as well. One of them was also ex MN Royalty but she’d been banned eventually for questioning Justine. She was another well known stroppy C U Next Tuesday.

I’ve read the Any Fucker thread and the arselicking is off the scale. ‘If anyone deserves it, it’s you AF, after all the sage advice you’ve given on MN over the years’. Really?! REALLY?! Is that all it takes to get out of following the rules the rest of us have to adhere to? I wish I’d known that earlier 😑

Mumsnet is both a site where people have 101 on speed dial, feel intimidated if a stranger ever talks to them and never answer their front doors if there’s an unexpected knock after 8pm, but in the same breath, when replying to an OP who has had an unpleasant encounter with an aggressive person, will say “I’d have found it very hard not to punch her, OP”. You? The timid, 101-ringing person who hides behind their front door at the slightest knock of an evening? You’d have punched someone who was shouting in your face and threatening you? No you wouldn’t!

I've always had this feeling that some posters on there live very joyless lives. I stopped posting on there 2 years ago because a poster just pounced on me because she didn't believe something had happened to me and just wouldn't let it go.

I much prefer it on here - if anyone disagrees, no one is called thick or uneducated and no one asks for a source for any information.

There's been some threads lately about the fact that posters can be so horrible to people just asking advice and why.
Well the one I read they all jumped on her and told her to leave the site if she didn't like it, and just proved her point. The poster was just saying sometimes it puts people off posting, which is true.
I'm a stepmother, so in mumsnet eyes I'm the devil. Stepmothers are hated on there 😂
I feel sorry for people in a bad place needing some help, people on there can be vile, it must make them feel even worse.

I liked the thread title someone made the other day called “does anyone here actually like their husband?” and asked because it seemed everyone just complained and moaned about them all the time lol

Another thing is whenever someone asks where they can buy nice clothes from them and they always say Mint Velvet. Have you seen the prices at Mint Velvet?! It’s £60,00 for a basic top or shirt!
Mint Velvet, Toast, Boden. The answer to “What basics do I need?” is always a Breton top

They’ve been behaving like this from the very start. Getting their knickers in a knot because their neighbours were sitting in their garden, or someone across the road had taken their dog for walk more than once. Those are just two really petty examples I saw. It was very easy to see who‘d have been in the Gestapo in another life that’s for sure.
So many people posting about while they were on a walk they saw others on walks. The OP was simply getting exercise but the others are granny killers.

Makes me laugh on Mumsnet when someone spots something in an OP that doesn't quite add up (in their opinion) and then they post about it with such glee. You can just imagine someone beaming from ear to ear thinking they are being so clever!
even funnier when they go searching through their old posts to try and Find cracks in their stories.

i mean for a site that claims to have so many ‘busy, important high pressure career women’ they sure have a lot of time to do stuff like that.

I agree. The teacher bashing on there is disgusting. If you’ve ever worked in a school of with kids in general you will know exactly the kind of parents they are, the ones who’s precious little shits darlings can never do any wrong and complain about the most ridiculous and petty things imaginable.

Oh and as a teaching assistant I would always choose to work in the schools in the rougher deprived areas than the those in the more affluent ‘posher‘ places. 99.9% of the time they are better behaved and have better manners. The parents don’t look at you like shit they’ve just trodden in either.

It’s all bollocks, they just like pretending to be rich
Yup! I remember a post about what chocolates to give as a gift and posters coming out with “unless you spend £100 on a box of chocolates then it’s not even worth bothering, you just look like a cheapskate.” What world do these people live in? I remember commenting to say you should appreciate any gift be it a £1 bar of chocolate or £100 truffles as someone has chosen to spend their money on you and I was completely berated with multiple versions of “well anyone buying me a £1 bar of chocolate clearly doesn’t know me well enough so I wouldn’t want them buying me a gift anyways”. Just utterly ridiculous.

They hate men so much.
There is a thread currently on MN and the poster asked what ppl are envious of in others relationships.....responses saying stuff like holding hands, partners who organise stuff without being asked etc pretty normal and then of course a poster says don't be fooled all these men who seem to be good and do these things are actually abusive behind closed doors.
What the fuck?!

In the style and beauty section everyone seems OBSESSED with Seasalt. I'd never heard of it till Mumsnet, checked out the site and the clothes are the most banal, insipid, mumsy boring clothes you could imagine. Yet they all rave about it?
