What does all money is family money mean? I've never heard it! Sorry if its extremely obvious my brain is fried by kids xMumsnet have four stock replies to every thread:
1) Leave the bastard aka LTB
2) That looks like sepsis
3) Log it with 101
and finally, the one that really makes me grind my teeth:
"All money is family money"
Totally agree, I can’t understand how they are so skint so quickly. My local food bank means more to me.To be honest: I've lurked on their mental health board posting about BPD and the relationship area, but there's so many smaller projects to help out at the moment rather than help run a website that has already made tons of money. And I'd rather save the money to make small donations to a food bank and a suicide prevention charity.
General opinion on Mumsnet was that any money that came into the household should automatically all be pooled together. They were very vocal about couples who had separate accounts. It was seen as completely abnormal and the phrase "All money is family money anyway" was CONSTANTLY parroted on there. What does all money is family money mean? I've never heard it! I think that like Jack Monroe they're very well off but are accustomed to making a shit load of money and are horrified at earning less so pleading poverty to milk people.Totally agree, I can’t understand how they are so skint so quickly. My local food bank means more to me.
Can I also add ‘get your ducks in a row’ and ‘get yourself a shit hot lawyer’ to that list please? Also, I can only make a chicken last for just the one meal rather than 6 years, so I’ll leave the membership to anyone who’s still eating a chicken that they cooked on the eve of the millennium.Mumsnet have four stock replies to every thread:

Don't forget that you're entitled to '30 minutes free' with that shit hot lawyer. They HAVE to give it to you, and if you don't manage to 'LTB' after getting your 'ducks in a row', then why not 'treat yourself to a spa day and get a cleaner'I

Ahhh I see. Thanks for explaining xGeneral opinion on Mumsnet was that any money that came into the household should automatically all be pooled together. It’s not even that. You’ll still see ads if you pay, just not as many. And their moderation policy is shocking anyway. I *think* the mods who did the night shift used to be volunteers, so where the hell is that money going?!The whole business element is baffling to me.
I understand that currently companies aren’t paying out big advertising spends, but in the long run you need a lot of £5 per month to compensate the advertising spends. The premise is that if you pay you don’t see ads, but if everyone subscribed and no one is seeing the ads then why would advertisers pay to be on the site?
I also don’t understand 350k a month salary bill, I don’t work in this industry it comparable to the company I do work for it seems an awful lot,?
They allegedly have 100 staff on around 35K a year. Not sure what the roles are. Remember the debacle of an intern posting user IP's on Twitter, a very serious data breach. The whole business element is baffling to me.
