Considering they all go on about how rich they are all the time, they are stingey as fuuuuuck. There's a thread about a hairdresser charging £40 for a mobile appointment at OPs house, which she thinks is ridiculous because the hairdresser has no overheads (apart from the fact she will have to pay for insurance/products/fuel/training/her time etc etc). They're all saying how expensive that is. One person pays £7 and another pays £15. Why are they proud of that!? I know it's the hairdressers choice to set their own prices, but just because you pay someone below minimum wage doesn't mean they should all accept that and charge peanuts

I go to the scabbiest barbers going and only pay 15 quid, Christ knows what their hair must look like if they're paying £7 for a mobile hairdresser.

I was thinking the same. Are they giving seven quid to their small child, handing them a scissors and hoping for the best?

It's like the posters on style and beauty who are proud of themselves for wearing mens vests or hiking boots or something equally tit

My dd was weighed on every team GB training camps.

They don’t select anyone with the “wrong” body type. They have told athletes that unless they lose x weight they won’t be selected for GB comps.

Abusive mats. Half of them have eating disorders, then they wonder why their bones keep snapping and they are injured or have “mental health” issues. Which of course = too much of a wuss to cope with elite training.

Dd is no longer team GB.

I had to weigh my 6yr old neice the other day for her to go horseriding. I just asked her to step on the scale and see if she could count the numbers. She has no idea what the numbers were for or that she was weighed and she had absolutely no need to know about weighing at her age. I have to assume that poor 10 year old is fully aware of what is happening and of her mother's disappointment at the numbers.

I was enormous when pregnant - more like a barrage balloon than a space hopper. Attempting to reverse car (Vauxhall Viva, not known for their pregnant user friendliness) into parking space but couldn't actually turn my solid lump of a body to check space. Chap in car behind got out and somewhat patronisingly offered to park for me. Heaved my 15 stone out and very gratefully accepted (at that stage I had no dignity or pride). He was somewhat astonished that I was still driving at approximately 3650 months' gestation.
I learned to drive in a Vauxhall Viva!
