Ugh there's a thread this morning where an OP admits she has an ED and is now overfeeding her daughter all the things she won't allow herself to eat so she's worried she's getting large. The daughter is 10 years old and weighs 7 stone, which OP says is more than she weighs

The thread needs taking down and OP needs some serious help

I think that thread should be deleted as well, and the poster doesn’t only need urgent psychological support, she needs to realise she’s abusing her little girl. They all sound dysfunctional with eating disorders, what with her husband only eating crisps and pizza.

So much pro ana on Mumsnet, it’s frightening.

That's basically how MNers advise you eat if you weigh 8 stone 2 and want to drop the 2 before your holiday in 3 months.

I hope some of the normals talk some sense into her and she stops abusing her daughter.

What’s more worrying is the posters claiming that the OP’s daughter is in fact a humongous fatty because their own petite daughters only weigh xx amount and wear teeny tiny clothes 🤢🤢

I am one of 5 sisters and my mum never weighed any of us, ever. Do people generally weigh their primary school aged children?

Growing up we didn't have scales in the house, so I was never weighed. I don't know what age 10 and 7 stone actually means, I don't know what a 7 year old should weigh. I'd assume like adults it depends on her height and build but I could be wrong. I feel sad for the daughter though because she's had 10 years of being given 'treat food' to help her mother cope with her eating disorder and now she's going to have it all taken away because her mother thinks she's too large and that's how she 'fixed' herself when she was overweight.

In year 6 they weigh/measure all the kids at school as part of a national programme (unless you opt out) so I have a vague idea of what my 10 year old weighs.
However no one should be asking the weight of a random kid online, and especially on a thread started by a woman clearly in the throes of a serious eating disorder. The whole family needs help.

That's shocking, I can't believe they've allowed that to stand.

I literally couldn't keep this one to myself, I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I did.
Aye love, same. One glimpse of me frowning at them over my specs across the till and men are helpless. George Clooney's just been on the phone saying he's thrown Amal over for me. It's a pain in the a, to be honest.

George is cheating on me with you? I thought I was his only extramarital bag 😭😭 He promised me the use of the Lake Como house for the summer as well.

I know I don't know how I get through everyday life.

I've had 4 proposals this week alone, it must be because I look 18.

That IsadoraQuagmire is prolific buller who genuinely appears to believe she’s superior to most women, and is absurdly proud of having no female friends.

You know she relentlessly comes on to every married man she meets because she's convinced they all want her more than their wives.
