I'm still reeling from the (boring) mostly liquid diet suggested from the last thread that you shared @CrimsonCountess I imagine she'd be less than impressed with the cinnamon roll I had for breakfast. i think my iced latte was only 400ml too 😂

It's awful isn't it! How can anyone think that's normal? And just because it's hot weather doesn't mean people will eat very little food. I'm mostly eating my bodyweight in ice cream every day, not sure about everyone else though:ROFLMAO:

I read this and was thinking ahh that's a bit harsh to have a young child round for the day and not feed them at all. The child is 17...

Well speak for yourself Crimson. I’m surviving on fruit salads only. I’ve added some egg whites and a bit of dairy for balance too.

pavlova, I’m eating pavlova.

This was my reply to the 9 stone fatty on the previous thread (and thank god for a new thread title because I left my laptop open and caught Nan looking at the screen with a perturbed face) 😂

There was a thread recently about a woman asking if she would look out of place in a South of France beach club, as she was plus size. Cue one lardy lass who claimed to be a humongous size 12, telling her she personally felt fine as long as she was wearing a sarong or a coverup. Other posters were suggesting swimwear options and generally being reassuring, admitting to being fairly overweight themselves. Then the plus size poster admitted to being a size 16. FFS.

Only in Mumsnetland would a size 16 woman be ashamed of being seen on a beach.

I dont drink coffee and have to avoid caffeine as much as possible so am not an expert, but would assume 1.5 pints of coffee is a lot.

@Brandshinynew .., thanks for the message on the last thread. This has been going on for 4 weeks. Just been for a mri scan.

My walking has improved but still a lot of weakness and numbness. Had to use a wheelchair for the appointment today (pushed by dh) as the car park is huge and it’s also a trek to radiology.

I had the dreaded 5 days of steroids 2.5 weeks ago, almost sent me round the bend 🤣

How are you doing? How long has this been going on for you? Take care

I’m on my third ice cream of the day. And there’s still plenty of time to fit some more in.

Why do they measure their coffee in pints and water in litres? Do they think people who live in warmer climates exist on a liquid diet? When I lived in Australia I consumed a lot of chicken parmi and chips, caramello koalas and insane amounts of golden gaytimes.

1.5 pints of milky coffee?!
I don’t understand what she means by not needing much in the heat. Do people in hot countries never consume solid food then?

I bet she’s on here there’s a woman on here that seems to consume nothing but coffee, I can’t believe there’s more than one.

but maybe that’s how they’re all so slim - constantly shitting themselves from the caffeine overdose.

I don't know why they have such a passion for the French and their body sizes.

Personally I look to the Dutch and the Germans who couldn't give a duck how big they are. Like me they drag their bloated carcases down to any bit of sand and water and strip off as far as they are allowed on that particular beach - adipose tissue, varicose veins and all.

I'm not saying they look pretty (nor do I) but they have a healthy disregard for the opinions of strangers and just get on with enjoying their day.
