OP - I'm wondering what colour shirt my 14 year old son should wear to a family wedding? He's going to be wearing a green waistcoat
Suggestion -

FFS, I offered this to Shaniqua-Tequila in confidence. Can't believe she's gone and blabbed about it all over mumsnet
That's it!

Next meeting of our exclusive millionaire's club for genuine millionaires, I'm going to propose a motion to have you barred for bringing us genuine millionaires into disrepute.

You've been warned about this before telling non-millionaires how much money us genuine millionaires have.

The vet surgery my dog attends is flexible, very clean, the receptionists always offer treats, the vet always offers treats and they’re all just so lovely and kind. The only downside is the thermometer situation and the fact the scales are in the waiting room. I’m not sure I’d want to weigh myself publicly and announce it. 😏
I attended a clinic after surgery and you were brought to a side corridor and weighed. One nurse was shouting it to the other to put in chart. My turn came and I told her that she better not scream it across the corridor and embarrass me like she had everyone else. I may have given her a Paddington Bear hard stare too. She seemed surprised people didnt like their weight screamed around a hospital.

I had to see a neurologist recently (health issues that aren’t relevant to this thread) and the health care assistant weighed me and told the consultant the results. DH said what’s that in old money? I swiftly told him 9 stone 1lb.

OTOH, how often is there an opportunity to be called a “pretty girl” and be given a biscuit?
My cat has been called "A handsome boy" with me standing right there.

One of my sisters is a vet so I sent her that earlier. She said she became a vet as animals are far more predictable than humans and they don't bloody talk and try and know better than you.
One of my other sisters is a dentist and she did that rather than medicine as she hates small talk and her patients find that tricky when she has her hand in their mouth! 😆
I feel you would be a very handy family to marry into. That said, it's still access to prinsesstårta that remains the biggest draw.

AIBU - The doctor vet didn't pat me on the head and give me a treat even though I was very well behaved. I feel traumatised by it, can I sue?

In other news, Nan has tracked down my favourite singer Brendan Boone and, for my landmark birthday (outing but I’m not 30 or 50) she’s going to buy us both tickets for his next Manchester gig - and throwing in a hotel and all you can eat brekkie. Nan ain’t your average 90 year old, she wants barrier tickets 🥰

Now, this thread title may look very boring and inconspicuous but it's actually great. I sense it will be deleted soon at the OPs request because she's made a complete tit of herself. She completely misunderstood what was being said, and then continued to argue with everyone that pointed that out to her. Surely common sense would tell you that if you're declaring mileage after doing your every day tasks and commuting then you'd be declaring no mileage at all which clearly can't be right? But no, OP is convinced that that's what it means and is merrily telling everyone else to do the same

Oh I do this, just keep changing things until you get a much lower cost, address, age, sex - it all adds up!

(that OP is the sort of person that does a gofundme with a daily mail sad face when they can't get home from holiday because they didn't realise they had to declare having had a previous heart transplant)
