I don't understand the logic of the cost and faff and cleaning up to make almond milk, when it's cheaper and easier to buy a carton of almond milk. But then again I am a fatty.
And I'm just too lazy - Aldi sell it for a quid, it's cheaper than buying the almonds!I don't understand the logic of the cost and faff and cleaning up to make almond milk, when it's cheaper and easier to buy a carton of almond milk. But then again I am a fatty.
Does she work in a school?Has anyone seen the one in Relationships called “Absolutely heartbroken” or something like that? It’s too long to screenshot. The poster had a crush on a colleague who eventually became single so they started trying to develop a relationship but he was a horrible bully and messed her about. She’s had her heart broken and has had therapy and all sorts. I feel (felt) really sorry for her as she was blaming herself and thinking she’d deserved it and so on.
But I’m starting to scratch my head at all the references to their weird workplace where people masturbate in offices, talk about sex all the time, bag at work and get their wicks out and that’s just accepted as the norm by everyone, including management. Strange post.
And more importantly, are there any jobs going?Does she work in a school?
And what exactly did she step in before the levitation started???I've just been browsing that website WTH is going on here, is she levitating??
Aye that didn't happen. There’s a thread where the OP is complaining about a neighbour cutting down a tree at the OP’s request and she comes off as being a bit of a fool. Then, when everyone’s told her how unreasonable she is, she drops a huge drip feed about the neighbours.
I think duck tit.And what exactly did she step in before the levitation started???![]()
Has anyone said eating junk food, snacking, takeaways or obesity yet?The weekends never disappoint on MN.
Thread in chat “what’s the weirdest thing that society deems normal?” Some lighthearted responses such as “work”. But the MNers are soon back in top form with “drinking alcohol as a pastime”. I personally don’t drink any alcohol at all. But I definitely don’t see it as “weird” that other adults like to relax with a beer or cocktail.
I am currently eating junk food - a 4 pack of eclairs washed down with the best part of a warm loaf of bread I just made and some cans of Lidl Kong. I'm a size 14/16 so am obese as duck. I'm binge watching 24 Hours in Police Custody (I'm sure they'd have an opinion on that) and vaping (indoors). And the best part is that I am husband and kid free because he's taken them to the pub (alcoholics) with a bunch of other Dads and kids from my son's football team (common hooligans).Has anyone said eating junk food, snacking, takeaways or obesity yet?
And seeing as you’re elderly at 35 on there, what age is peri? About 21?Why are they bleeping obsessed with perimenopause??
I have read three threads this week
I stink, any tips? That’s peri for you!
I want to organise my day and get up earlier, any ideas? I’m up early these days, thanks peri!
I’ve got a crush on a colleague, worried as we are both married! That could be peri, look up limerance, I had that when I started peri.
duck me!
If that site wasn’t unreadable before, it is now!
I hate the tone of posts like the last one, twee and childish and naive like they don’t know what they are talking about or what is happening anywhere just - you know those cute bottles with smelly sticks - like a child would say! Like you can’t google it to find the nameA few of my favourites from MN the last few days....
I might start calling them fruities actually.

This one where alot of replies said "light/strike a match"....

And my personal favourite of the day, this one where OP didn't realise you had to flip the sticks even though it tells you to do that on the box ("it actually works!!" She says... of course it does, that's why it tells you to bloody do it!) and only remembered they're called reed diffusers 10 minutes after posting. Although, I do quite like changing it from reed diffuser to "little bottle of nice smells with sticks in it".

You can’t ask anything on there without that coming up! I mean…a sore throat, it’s not even close to a symptom!Yes, they shoehorn peri-menopause into everything. I saw a thread where the OP had a sore throat and was discussing soup recipes as all she felt like eating was soup. Along comes a poster telling her it’s “peri” and doesn’t even add any recipe ideas.
They have even said that the Salt Path people made up the story due to “peri” making her confused.

They would be having conniptions trying to understand why I deem this to be a perfectly normal, nay bleeping delightful, way to spend a Saturday afternoon/evening (family time).
