It's a mix of both which is confusing. Americans tend to (typically) say they 'got' something, rather than 'had' - 'i got surgery on my legs'; then going to a deli (which tend to be more specialist type places here i.e. Italian delis etc), buying 'candy'.

Im also confused about an apparent 15 year old going to Mumsnet...

On a thread about “have you ever recognised a poster?”.

We have unlocked a new level of “won’t answer the door” and a poster has died rather than have an awkward conversation. 😂

Thank you for the new thread 😊
I saw the thread about the picture of the DH at the prostitutes door . It's got to be a troll but a really funny one🤣

I went a bit tonto posting on that one this morning some disgusting nasty remarks to the OP. Absolute bullies. I remembered why I can’t go on there very often as I get so wound up by some of these nasty indivifuals

think I may get banned as I repeated one posters comment of

“Well go and duck your husband and get your marriage back on track. Ikea do really big rugs, might be useful for sweeping it all under”

on her thread about whether she should paint a basket 🤣 been deleted

Afternoon tea is way too much food

Afternoon tea is very filling

Lots of the afternoon tea should be boxes up and taken home

Given it was getting dark at 6pm, I “pondered” the OP was an Australian or NZ (adult)?

There’s a twin pregnancy thread going where OP has 3 kids already and didn’t want more, but was sloppy about contraception because she thought she was ‘past it’ in her 30s. Then she followed up by saying her none of her existing kids are her current partner’s.

I’m thinking it’s Sunday afternoon rage bait.

OP - I’m flying economy and don’t get to choose my seat, even during online check-in

First reply - why don’t you just choose your seat when you check-in

Having a DSixFigure job means there’s no time to spend reading the frippery (or the actual post). Are you a DPov? <Head tilt>

Multiple pregnancies and multiple partners = bull 99% of the time.

That being said, I do know a girl who has 6 x 6, no twins though.
