How did he do it?
He fell when some floorboards broke. Which I get is the hotels fault and they probably should have done better. But I find OP posting the picture to show his extensive injuries that ‘aren’t just a graze’ to be quite funny.

So the injuries that aren't just a graze are actually just a graze.
Brilliant.

She’s actually really lovely if you can ever cross her NOT talking about her 3 favourite topics:

1) Housing associations who have crossed me
2) How I lost 10 stone and kept it off
3) I married an old man and now I’m gonna moan about it

I quite like BIWI tbh but I need to put ON weight after illness so tend to avoid any weight loss threads.

She was good about the whole imaging stuff.

OP is complaining she got no compensation from an injury her husband suffered on holiday which meant ‘several days’ were a write off.

the injuries:
Looks like a simple graze to me.

But what do I know, I'm not a compensation-grifting twit. He was probably pissed when he fell over anyway

If the bloke was on blood thinners there might have been an issue, but he didn't bleed to death by the looks of things.

It does really hurt if you fall and get a graze. Hotel should be at fault if the floorboards collapsed.

Not exactly sure what compensation should be though
A free pint, a plaster and a kiss from mummy to make it better?

Seriously, my kids have come home from sport with more injuries than that! How did that make a grown man miss several days of holiday unless it became infected after this photo was taken. (Unlikely as the scratches are all very superficial and don't look to have any ingress.)

Most people would go feck that hurts, clean it up and carry on with holiday.
She is saying they lost days to try bump up a claim.
I would have thought making a claim was a bit chavvy for MN.

I don't think I'd be stealth boasting about my Oxford-bound, opera loving, no doubt 6ft strapping rugby player DS if he wasn't bright enough to use Google maps to plan a simple journey.

bleeping hell. I hope the interviewers read this and rescind his offer on the grounds he’s a total melt and his mum will make everyone’s lives insufferable forever with her ‘going up to Oxford’ and ‘well of course when DS was reading PPE, the battels were quite hefty given Michaelmas term begins so much later than at other unis’.
