My daughter is in her first relationship. He’s doing an apprenticeship and work experience in a trade
Anywho soon as I found this out I mentioned that I’d bought a new bathroom light and it’s been lying around for nearly a year. Not because I’m too fragile to get someone in I’ve just never made it a priority. Last night him and his 2 friends were over and they put the light up. I was at my mums and they phoned and said some tradie stuff about halos and brackets. I said not to worry about holes in the ceiling as I’m going to get it plastered anyway. Turns out one of them is a plasterer. I said smashing wait until the end of the month when I get paid. Noooo they said. So it’s getting done at the weekend. Plus any other odd job I want done in the house. I nearly cried and shook like a mumsnetter but out of happiness.
AIBU to start trying on hats and shopping for a mother of the bride outfit? I’ll be filling in an entry form for Scotland’s Home of the Year at this rate.

A fellow tattler directed me to this thread. After reading about their pathetic response to CSAM I have logged in for the first time in over 3 years purely to delete my account. It might not mean much but it's my tiny protest.

Minimising CSAM is never a good look, but even worse for a parenting site.

Call it what is it is Justine... it's not just vile. It's illegal, it's traumatising and your website is hosting it. As an absolute minimum I would be apologising, making a hefty donation to the NSPCC or similar, and aligning the company to modern practices.

Don't forget when you write your will to also do this one thing I'm going to explain to you in a really confusing way because I'm not really a lawyer but I did see this thing once on murder she wrote about wills and I've believed it ever since but I find it hard to explain it.
