I love tattle and I love MN. I think both are great and that is the hill I will die on.

Well Mumsnet hated me, and banned me twice, but the first time they actually forgot to do it so I carried on for a couple more years 🤣 unfortunately I didn’t behave on my naughty step warning so they’ve kicked me out now 😂

(I called a poster a cnt for bashing a woman trying to juggle a baby and a toddler and a job with minimal help and asking for advice on getting g into a manageable routine. Cnt poster said perhaps she shouldn’t have reproduced if it was all too much)

the first time I got banned was because of Seafour, if anyone can recall that load of bus tripe bull.

I used to see the seafour bus posts but didn't ever really understand what was going on and didn't have the inclination to read back and try figure it out, but I'm sure I read it was all balls anyway, is that right?

A variation on a mumsnet theme. Usually it’s ‘why did you have kids with him’ now it’s ‘why did you have kids’ 😂

They don’t eat, don’t drink, don’t smoke, they don’t like sex, they don’t like their husbands, and they don’t like anyone visiting them or hanging out with family or friends. Also they’re always Constantly scrounging and saving for a rainy day.

They’re all a share of miserable guys

They’re all oddly embarrassed about the most mundane of things. For example if they accidentally write ‘of’ instead of a ‘if’ they do a dramatic post afterwards apologizing for the typo, assuring people that they can spell and that it was just a mistake because it’s Monday, followed by the embarrassed face emoji. If MN had an edit button it would cute a lot of their posters anxiety! 😁

The typo no one noticed or cared about until it was pointed out!

Just read the entire thread on tattle, some interesting points until it got hijacked by someone who got the wrong end of the stick and then just doubled down and started using highly emotive language to prove her entirely unrelated experience.

Having read some of the frankly unhinged threads and responses on AIBU for some time now, the lack of self awareness of some posters when it comes to how they perceive tattle and MN is scary.

Seafour was an incredible long-form fantasist. I think some of her story was based in fact, but she got carried away with the attention and the embellishments and lies just snowballed. It was amazing going back through her posts and picking out all the inconsistencies 😄

This thread just caught my eye. A poster ’won’ a prize advertised by an influencer and hasn’t received. This is precisely why Tattle exists, to call out tit like this!
ive been following this one all afternoon, will be interested to see if the influencer buckles in the end

Seafour breakdown for anyone interested. The bus was something dreamt up by over invested Mumsnet aunties so they could virtually stroke each other’s hair and gorge on mince pies in a safe space.

-was paralysed from a surfing accident (she didn’t notice at the time and went to the pub)

-can’t breath without a ‘breathing machine’ that unfortunately kept getting switched off by errant nurses in intensive care or her large cleaner doing the hoovering and her ‘Fab PA’ would have to leap in to save her life

- died on an easyJet flight but no one noticed except her husband and he luckily revived her in time to enjoy their break in Copenhagen

-aspirated a prawn into her lungs that caused pneumonia

there’s loads more. It was honestly a wild bus ride of bull and Mumsnet let the entire thing stand.

I'm surprised multiple MNers on that thread have admitted to also being on Kiwi Farms. Those are not two sites I would ever have pegged as having a significant demographic overlap.

Its their identity, its what they live for, for a huge chunk of them, that they spell and type well. There's a thread at least once every month that goes to capacity with people wailing about why can't everyone spell perfectly.
And the ones that pretend to just be helping with spelling/grammar corrections.
"me husband is leaving me and I'm disabled with 3 kids and I'm really struggling to coap"
I'm sorry I don't understand, your post is unreadable so I can't offer any advice. Apart from learning to spell cope

REALLY? That site is way too much for me, it's tame here in comparison. KiwiFarms is more in the realms of 4chan type stuff. Like I'm not surprised because Mumsnet is full of trolls and goady assholes and cruel spiteful people but to actually admit to frequenting KiwiFarms is quite something! Mumsnet really is a cesspit

I lurk on the Farms from time to time (yes, introduced by MN) but stay within a few sub forums only. The rest of the site is pretty scary, but some of the threads about trans issues and kids is full of really moderate people.
