Post the other day asking how much would you pay for this meal at a chain pizza restaurant
Was something like
4x pizza
1x kids meal
4x soft drinks

was then 2 pages of people guessing anything from 60-100

even after OP had answered (£75 for anyone on the edge of their seats) there was still pages of people guessing 🥴

overall not really sure what the point of the thread was, it ended up being Zizzis which you can easily browse menu online and see prices and budget accordingly if money is issue?

And they always have vouchers thru email so OP has missed a trick there

edit to add- on further reading the thread someone has commented that they use Tesco vouchers and her 2x kids meals for herself and partner
I have secondhand embarrassment for her going out as 2 adults and ordering a full 3 course meal (plus squash 🤪) off a kids menu

Zizzi you can get on a taste card 50% off
No way on God's green earth would I pay £75 for pizza
You can get a Chinese takeaway and wine for 4 for £75 and still be eating it for lunch/ breakfast and dinner the next day
I hate pizza . I'd rather starve

I really wanted to comment on that thread. Tesco now sell a Zizzis range in the frozen section. The pepperoni pizza is delicious!

Theres currently a Tattle thread on there. The majority of posters seem to support Tattle while others call it where the school bullies hang out when they've left school

‘I hate pizza. I’d rather starve’ is such a Mumsnet thing to say though 😂

I honestly have to question the sanity of someone who says they hate pizza. It’s such a delicious yet completely non offensive collection of ingredients. That’s a friend filter for me for sure

Don’t forget the delicious (preferably home baked) crusty bread!
Yup. Add some vine ripened tomatoes, a touch of olive oil and garlic, plus some Good Cheese, maybe lightly grill the cheese so it's melted on top of the tomatoes and crisp, warm bread, maybe garnish with a couple of basil leaves and you've got a fantastic meal that is in no way almost exactly like a pizza with salad...

Just stick to a massive salad and that should fill you up for at least a week.
And roast a chicken, will feed the family until a week on Wednesday x

Honestly I had a brief period of wondering why I couldn’t make a chicken stretch as long as a mythical Mumsnet chicken, but then realised it’s because we all eat normal sized portions.
