The influencer that didn't provide the garden show tickets and flowers prize I think? What one was that?
Oh! Yes! I remember that one. I don’t know the influencer she was talking about. I wonder if it was fake or taken down because it was talking about someone particular like the jack monroe threads are over there. The influencer that didn't provide the garden show tickets and flowers prize I think?
This is exactly the sort of thing I was referring to a few pages back! What must the thought process be?!Why do they do this? On a gently amusing (lighthearted as they would say) thread about feeling old. Any amusing thread has to witch plopped on.
bleeping hell. Why do they do this? On a gently amusing (lighthearted as they would say) thread about feeling old. Any amusing thread has to witch plopped on.
Also glad the ‘accept cookies’ pop up has gone everytime you went on a new page!!I’m so pleased the OPs post now isn’t at the top of every page. Whoever thought of that idea is an idiot
That would actually be fabulous, gay pride is next month, we should look into doing that! This happens on SO MANY threads and is probably my biggest mumsnet pet hate. Someone starts a nice jolly fun thread and within a few posts someone has come along and - I always think deliberately - given a miserable and extreme response which brings the thread down. Along the lines of ‘what’s your favourite colour?’ ‘I don’t have one because my entire family were killed in a freak Crayola accident and now I’m alone in the world’.
I think it’s actually really cruel.
I'm all for LGBT pride but I think celebrating through crayon-based murder might be a tad extreme? That would actually be fabulous, gay pride is next month, we should look into doing that!
Back to Mumsnet with you and your cynical thinkinyI'm all for LGBT pride but I think celebrating through crayon-based murder might be a tad extreme?![]()
BIB, I am liking thinkiny very much, excellent word!Back to Mumsnet with you and your cynical thinkiny
Oh thinking! I know how to spell. God what will people think of me for making a typo! Forgive me it is a Tuesday and I have to feed an army of strapping rugby players after all.BIB, I am liking thinkiny very much, excellent word!
I completely disagree, the first post is always helpful and thoughtful. What a ridiculous thing to say. You sound like a step mum or a narcissist or something. *walks off laughing tinkily*What I have noticed over there is how the first response to a thread is nearly always a contrary, aggressive, faux confused one. As though a few posters just hang out answering every new thread in that way. It doesn’t matter what the OP said, they’ll come in with the opposite view.
The one where she’d just come out the eye hospital?Has anyone seen the thread when they act like OP is a major criminal for asking someone the time! It made me so angry.
