I LOVED gas and air. I had so much when I was in a&e with a bad back the mean nurse confiscated it.
Same here. I loved it, too - didn't stop the pain but I didn't give a monkey's about it.

I had it during labour, and frankly it should be available on prescription until the kid's at least 18.

Anyone reading the thread about dogs being racist? They surely cannot be serious?

Ah this happened to me once but I'd been away for six weeks!! My friend came over to check on something or other in the house, opened the fridge and texted to let me know a small cloud of flies had emerged 🤢 the freezer had had quite a big ice build up before this, so it all melted and all the drawers were half full of mouldy fish water. In the end I re-froze it all, hauled the drawers out to the back yard at about 1am before bin day with plastic gloves and sacks over my clothes, let it thaw just enough to remove the salmonella-ridden ice blocks the from the drawers, chopped them up with a small axe and stuffed them into heavy duty bin bags. I'm amazed none of my neighbours called the police 😂
MNers wouldn't regard it as any of their business.

Even if you were half way through building a patio and your DH had gone off for a golfing weekend so they didn't see him about, they would just sniff and say "Someone really should call the police. And the Borough Surveyor - that's got to be breaking the Building Regulations." but they wouldn't dream of doing it themselves because they "don't like to pry".

No but I'm very invested already. I'm off to look for it.

Edit
Shitting hell, its a thing!! There's racist, sexist and disabilist dogs owned by various people.

Edit 2
There's a dog that hates obese people now🤣 I bet it's a french bulldog.

This is a thing, obviously the dogs aren’t actually racist, but as a brown man in a I very often have dogs who are scared of me, but will happily fuss my white partner. Dogs being wary around darker skinned people is a thing. Interestingly, other dogs are more likely to be wary of black dogs as ifs harder to read their physical cues.

Have I woken up in 1999 and everyone’s spending Friday detailing exactly what they’ll imbibe to get wrecked this weekend?

If yes, put me down for a spinal and some gummies ta. Oh and a box of Marlboro lights menthols.
The best cigarettes. Those, diet coke and shagging wronguns on three continents were 85% of my personality in 1999.

So true. My dear old nana lived off cigarettes, bisto gravy granules and those tubs of value supermarket vanilla ice cream.
Diet for Life.

Sounds good to me (though I prefer Oxo)

I cannot believe we are talking about holidays. It’s so insensitive. My next door neighbour’s best friend’s hairdresser’s cousin’s dog walker’s daughter’s teacher’s uncle-in-law once died on holiday.
Look - he only died once. He'd had loads of holidays where he didn't die. Just attention-seeking if you ask me.

My aunt’s dog is ableist. The first time the wee thing saw my dad walking on crutches (he’s disabled and even on crutches it’s not exactly graceful) he was scared of him and hid in a corner. Took him a few days to get used to it, the dog had simply never seen anyone on crutches before…..

Oh yeah Consulate were such an after dinner smoke.
If you were really posh like my dear departed Muvva you would have smoked Sobranie Cocktail cigarettes. Mind you, they were very pretty colours. She used to buy them if she was going to a dinner dance.

Now there’s an idea. Website of cuddle-able dogs and cats. I’d even accept rabbits, Guinea pigs, and hens.
Now that's an idea.
Me and my daughter dream of opening a baby animal zoo. Any animal is allowed as long as it stays a baby forever.

I've just googled them, never seen them or heard of them before. They are pretty lol.
