Mumsnetters go on about how liberal and well-educated, open and tolerant they are but as soon as something doesn't go their way - Leave winning, Tories getting in etc they become very nasty and resort to calling people uneducated and thick even going as far as wanting intelligence tests before people vote.
I remember the Tories getting in 2015 and tons of posters were posting that they were sat sobbing. Those who voted leave weren't even allowed one thread to celebrate on because the remain voters kept jumping on to berate them further. I think Mn did lose a lot of posters because of it.
One leave voter years later very eloquently wrote about why she voted the way she did and was torn to strips, one delightful poster even going as far as to say that she was a bad parent for voting Leave. It became a bun fight and the thread got deleted.
