The whole cleaningwithkidsx needing a break and being broken I don’t doubt she has some unresolved grief from losing her mum but I have also noticed in all aspects of her life she avoids everything. She needs some counselling because it’s clear to a blind person she is using spending and Instagram as some coping mechanism. No amount of material items can replace having their mum as a safe space to talk to about anything and everything. Shes said twice that the “mental health team” had called her. Maybe her surgery has a mental health team based there but every still, 2 calls in less than a week without a waiting list doesn’t sound right when you’ve got desperate people waiting an age for a referral.

That post about binning things REALLY ripped my knitting I’m not Greta Thunberg by any stretch of the imagination but I will go out of my way to recycle and / or donate / reuse things where I can. The idea of some bone idle layabout slinging a cupboard full of chemicals wrapped in plastic in the bin to end up on a landfill for the next 100 years makes me fume. It’s not as though there isn’t a fuck load of information on social media about the environmental impact of single use plastics
